- Suchig06New Delhi, India592 contributionsOne of the best childhood memories with all cousins and elders were created here. Simple park, safe and clean, ample swings and very good walk ways. A water pool stretching within the park used to have water and a dummy crocodile (till 1995). The aquarium zone has been fun and that can be made better - add a voice feature to learn about stored fishes. May be put some mechanical puppets, clowns, traditional (life-size) dolls, folks etc. People can pose with them and take photos.
Appu Ghar used to have a clown which used to laugh and move after we dropped in a coin. something like this!
I hope the authorities never make it a contemporary westernized unsafe park in the name of modernization.
The park is walking distance from India Gate and has easy access.
Old park culture symbolizes the purest love and affection we had as kids towards fellow kids and animals in the parks around us.Written February 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RuchelleondgoLille, France108 contributionsThe play date party for kids is taking a new shape in Delhi. And we are not complaining. The tumble house is a great place for kids below 6 years highly recommended to get the kids here for a fuss free play date. Just watch out for the rather brusque manager though. She can be matronly.
Had a lovely party and play date with the crew this month so go for it but call your shots. The catering is truly well done and so is the coffeeWritten May 22, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SumitPratapSinghNoida, India23 contributionsThe owner is so nice & trustworthy. Perfect place to leave your kids while you shop in lajpat nagar market.
Play area is soft, cushioned and well maintained. Owner personally and staff ensure that children are fully looked after.
Overall the play area and owners are very welcoming.

It has to parts an arcade with lots of games for older children and an indoor play area. My first impression of the playground was good, however once inside that changed into a bit of a disappointment. It seems as though they have a lot, however there are a few but's...
- it is all cramped in a small space, all monkey towns in the netherlands are 20 times larger and offer more for the same INR 300 (plus 140 taxes) per child for one hour (in the Netherlands it is the same price for a whole day).
- It is not clean at all... the tunnel to get to the slides was sticky everywhere.
- The interactive (computer?) games where all not working propperly.
- In some cases the protection had gone and metal was sticking out dangerously.
- My last point is something that annoyed me personally, but what is commercially smart. In sight are all kinds of machines outside the play area for which you need to pay INR 20 more each "ride" which lead to my daughter constantly asking for a ride in the train instead of playing in the play area...
All in all i am happy that there is something where they can play indoors, still as a parent you have to watch hygiene and safety are an issue! and this really is milrs away from monkey town or something similar in the Netherlands.. I advise the owners to have a look to see how it can work better and cleaner!.Written December 30, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
