What travelers are saying
- Sonali Chopra Khurana4 contributionsThe moment i visited the mall i felt i have reached the ultimate. This is in comparison to the mall in Cairo which i visited on my trip to Cruise in Nile Egypt.
The ambience is class apart. The brands are mind blowing and the gentry is quality .The food in the food court is delicious with all exclusive brands cuisines from.across the globe.Select Citywalk Rocks!!Written December 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Curious355303687957 contributionsOne of the highlights of DLF Promenade is its excellent selection of dining options. Whether you're in the mood for a quick snack or a sit-down meal, there's something for everyone. The food court offers a wide range of cuisines, and there are also several standalone restaurants that provide a more upscale dining experience.
The entertainment options at the mall are also impressive. The PVR cinema is top-notch, offering the latest movies with comfortable seating and good sound quality.Written December 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tanvir Singh SabharwalEldoret, Kenya183 contributionsI was surprised to see the selection of stores and the amount of people that visit this mall.
It has large selection of dining, shopping and entertainment joints to keep you entertained and well fed.
It has most of the big brands in house.
Only downside is I was unable to find a pharmacy in the whole mall.Written May 27, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Then, some years back, we found that it had closed for renovation.
Well, Ansal Plaza has been open now for a while (probably a couple of years?) and we decided it was high time we went and saw how it was.
The mall is a very basic structure: a sort of semi-circle, the stores and offices (yes, it has several offices here too) spread across three floors. No confusing branchings off, no complicated structures: you walk from one end to the other, then go up a floor and walk again to the end, and so on. The two wings of the mall are not connected, so you have to go out into the amphitheatre and cross it to enter the other wing.
Ansal Plaza’s stores are mainly restaurants and bars and pubs, of which there are many different kinds, catering to different palates: among the more interesting (for us, who like Asian food) are Jom Jom Malay (Malaysian food), Kofuku (Japanese) and Seoul (naturally, Korean). There is an Imperfecto, a McDonald’s, and several other restaurants. Oddly enough, the one thing that’s missing is a coffee shop—there’s not even a very basic Café Coffee Day here.
The shopping, in comparison, is limited. True, there’s an Apple store, a Meena Bazaar, and a Decathlon here (among others), but the food is what really makes this mall. Come here more for the food and drink, less for exciting shopping.
A word about the facilities: the basement parking, while large enough to cater to the mall (which isn’t very popular, so doesn’t seem to have too many visitors), isn’t a pleasant place. It’s dingy, and we saw lots of peeling plaster and paint and dripping water in places. I would sooner park outdoors than down in the basement.
Also, I visited the ladies’ rest room in the mall, and found it smelling of sharp chemicals. In addition, it was poorly designed—no place, for instance, to hang a dupatta or shawl or place a bag.Written March 31, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Madhulika LNoida, India6,801 contributionsThe main malls of Vasant Kunj—DLF Promenade, Ambience, and Emporio—are among Delhi’s largest, most upmarket malls, all of them situated on Nelson Mandela Marg. Vasant Square Mall, on the other hand, is tucked away inside Vasant Kunj, along the Masoodpur stretch. It’s a smaller mall than the Nelson Mandela Marg ones, and definitely less glitzy. There are some important stores here, such as an Apple store, a Bose store, and so on, but few of the big, high fashion stores. The restaurants too are more limited in scope, with fast food dominating the area: Subway, KFC, Pizza Hut, Haldiram’s, and so on.
One advantage is that because this mall is smaller and less fashionable, it is also far less crowded. Good place to hang out if fancy shops and restaurants aren’t exactly what you’re looking for.Written April 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I wanted to make a call after we left the mall but couldn't find it. My friend dialed my number. The Mall 'lost & found' section answered & informed her that my mobile was with them. Thank you so much for the honesty & excellent service!Written November 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
