- DollyBirdScotlandScotland482 contributionsWe were lucky to arrive towards end of the day when the village was almost deserted. It's beautifully presented and one of the most authentic open air village museums we have ever visited. You can wander around and the inside of the houses are set up to explain about different professions or ways of living. I heard you can even stay here which would be marvellous. Has a wonderful cafe with theee best apple cake and shlivovitsa. The nearby village was also site of an evacuation of Allied airmen during WWII. The town paid dearly at hands of the Nazis for helping. Well worth a visit from Zlatibor.Written May 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TeeleTallinn, Estonia860 contributionsYou had to pay for both parking and entrance to the cave, but the prices were not expensive. I've been to many caves, but this one was special because it also had a waterfall inside. It was a pretty cool experience. The cave entrance was also very spectacular and something different that I have not seen before. I definitely recommend a visit. The Gostilje waterfall is also nearby, which you can visit on the same day.Written November 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TeeleTallinn, Estonia860 contributionsGoogle Maps and Waze guide you exactly along the asphalt road to the large free parking lot. To see the waterfall, you have to pay an entrance fee, but the ticket was not very expensive. The place is very nice, well maintained. There are also some picnic spots. If you have visited the Sopotnica waterfall before, unfortunately Gostilje pales in comparison. So I recommend visiting them in reverse order. Otherwise, the views are nice, but there is no wow effect. Near Gostilje there is also the Spotnica cave, which I recommend visiting on the same day.Written November 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Nearby is also a fantastic viewpoint to the mountains nearby surrounded with pine trees. In the valley there is a little river - Crni Rzav... resembles to the English painters :)Written July 13, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lucas b7 contributionsWe visited the Cigota Hotel with a young child in June, we are genuinely disappointed with the service, our room was not renovated dirty bath when we entered the room, we also did not like the food, which you did not eat today, maybe tomorrow. We had a very unpleasant experience with a long hair gentleman in charge of the pool, who literally stripped our child of her rubber toys for the pool, a very bad staff attitude towards the guests, all in all a typical state-owned company unfortunately. We have not experienced such a service yet, we will not return, it is safe.Written July 15, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Few Serbians know how to speak in English so if you go alone not with a tour its not easy to communicate.Written September 19, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. He finished the work only some 15 years later.
The walls of this little church were rebuilt in 1821 or 1823, but the interesting and beautiful iconostasis is the original one. As the walls are white, the interior appears to be very bright.
The massive bell tower was built at the end of the XIX. century.
Next to the church is an old log-cabin in which one can buy candles, other religious items and souvenirs.Written August 13, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is a really nice view from the top. At the top there is a monument commemorating the victims of World War II. In case of good weather, this is a really nice walk.Written August 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Uroš BLjubljana, Slovenia6 contributionsThis is a great milk making store, open every day from 8:00-16:00. It has authentic cheese products from local milk producers, that drive the milk to her. I have actually seen the delivery and the taste is really worth the visit.
