- cdtravel20238 contributionsStopped here on the drive from Timisoara to Belgrade because the car service I was using recommended it, and I am so glad they did. It is about a 7 minute walk from the parking area if you drive up, and the views from the castle grounds are beautiful. The castle itself is very interesting, and they provide a lot of historical information on the castle and the entire region (in both English and Serbian). I spent about an hour reading all the information and viewing the castle. Also, the man at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful.Written July 22, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - gerrydawson1Kidderminster, UK9 contributionsSuch a great evening sampling the delicious wine produced by the Vinik family vineyard. Yes, the wine is good. Yes, the traditional grilled meat was really tasty. But what made the event was the chat, jokes and ‘patter’ of our host. Be prepared to sing, dance, laugh and enjoy a glass of wine or six!Written September 20, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Oleg YBelgrade, Serbia2,702 contributionsJust on our way back from the Vrsac Castle - Fortress, we passed by this pleasant city park. That is so close all the things, one visitor wants to see, here in Vrsac. It didn't take us more than ten minutes to find ourselves already again in the center of this old town in southern Banat.
The City Park is one of the oldest parks in Serbia and is very representative in the sense of one natural good, so no wonder,it was declared as a Natural Monument in 2000. We've seen very well organized park, as a mixture of French and English influences in the setting of the characteristic styles. The round flower beds are very nice and the mighty tall trees, lawns, bushes and cobblestoned paths give the allure of one quiet place, where You may enjoy in the rest off the more vivid city center, not far from this very place.
We liked also a beautiful fountain in the park.Written February 27, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Very well done on the inside and a little drab on the outside.Written August 17, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Oleg YBelgrade, Serbia2,702 contributionsThis site is located on Victory Square in Vrsac, in the very center of the old town. The building had been built in Art Nouveau style design, with the dark red coloured facade, high white windows and decorative frontal white columns. There are three arched high portals as the entrance doors as well. This City Hall started to function after the two communities in Vrsac, i.e. the Serbian Vrsac and German Vrsac, have united in 1795 into one city. Since that period, through 18,19 and 20th centuries, it worked as the main administrative body of the Vrsac City.
In the base of the edifice can be spotted the commemorative volume written in Latin and Serbian language and signed by the most important people of Vrsac.
We've just couldn't go back in Belgrade without seeing this beautiful, historical representative building.Written March 18, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You will be surprised how much interesting stuff you will find in a small towns Museum but, and again, with less than 1 Euro entry fee, how could you go wrong?Written July 20, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Niho49Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina233 contributionsDuring our short evening walk in Vrsac, Vojvodina we also saw beautiful Romanian Church. We took some photos and enjoyed the evening view.
