What travelers are saying
- BaldockJamboBaldock, UK43 contributionsI went in October at the end of the season. It’s quite a small old town, much smaller than many of the others I have been to. The streets are about 2 m wide. Although quiet in October this place will be rammed in high season. Well worth a visit, good for half a day (although not mentioned this will be a pickpockets paradise in high season).Written October 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AnarGeisselBaku, Azerbaijan22 contributionsI planned my trip to Montenegro spontaneously. My friends recommended me to visit Budva as the first spot, and then plan other cities. From the very first moments of stay in Budva I liked nearly everything, beginning from lively atmosphere, delicious meals, and overall vibe. I may visit Budva next year.Written December 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- CiciTanSlovenia152 contributionsNice beach. On a walking distance from the old city center. Midle range service on the beach. - Katrin ATallinn, Estonia61 contributionsNice place, 5€ enterence, only restaurant visit enterence free. The girl who sold tickets didnt tell us how to go and where to go and all we needed to ask. Even then the answers were very unprofessional, so get to know all you want before you go there :)
There are only few steps and small wish well and fishes not like statue but just a small stone plate on the wall behind the well. How to wish... Have no idea ;)

It does not go all away round the city but about 3/4. A nice easy walk . A euro or two to get in. A few cables laying around near the end of the walk. Would be nice if they could be removed as kill the ambience a bit. But we'll worth doing.Written October 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- goodguyjasLondon, UK1,232 contributionsVisited during the off season and was so pleasant strolling along the cliff pathways and coming across the many beaches sheltered by dramatic rock formations. The wonderful clear blue water was stunning. The green park areas with the beautiful lush greenery and stunning trees complement the sandy beaches. Thoroughly enjoyed the long walk back to Budva town. Good exercise too.Written April 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Martys GDerby, UK12 contributionsI did not go in as cameras are not allowed inside. It is still a place of worship after all. - Vesper35Bucharest, Romania188 contributionsMy personal favorite beach in Montenegro. The water is crystal clear and turquoise, has a nice tranquil vibe and is not very crowded. If you get before 11.00 you can get a very good spot, either on the public side with your own umbrella or rent a sunbed. The music at the bar made a great atmosphere after noon. There are more parking areas, we turned right at the barrier and ended up in a spot where it cost 4 eur/day, but there were also sections with a price per hour, from 1.2 to 4 eur, depending on how close to the beach you were. A bit of climbing uphill in the afternoon from the beach to the parking space.Written September 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - J-HChester, UK78 contributionsSmall museum spread over 4 floors. Each floor is dedicated to a different era in the history of Budva. You can see lots of artefacts which were uncovered during the earthquake in the 70s. An inexpensive was to spend a couple of hours.Written November 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
