Was a nice city in the old town a bit to built up in the rest of the city though. Many restaurants bars and restaurants even some beach front ones. Warm and friendly people and very helpful.

Located just a few hundred meters from Budva old town and at the foot of the path to Mogren beach you will find The ballet dancer statue that was the inspiration the sculptor Gradimir Aleksić, a statue that Budva prides itself in.

The back story behind the Budva Ballerina statue lies in the lost love of one ballerina and a sailor from Budva. Certainly a great photo opportunity with the back drop of the old town.

100% worth the €3 (£2.50/$3:15) per person entry fee. Old world charm with stunning views across the Budva Riviera from the Citadel battlements and access to a truly can’t beat seen elsewhere library. A must visit when in Budva

Very nice beach, beautiful place.. The only down side is that massive floatable castle thing that ruins the whole scenery..

For €2 you can walk the walls and get great views of the old town and surrounding area. It’s not strenuous and gives you insight to the area

This monastery is located just outside Budva and is also known as Podostrog. It is worth doing for many reasons. The main ones being the historical significance and that it is specially fortified while sitting on a vantage point to see the rest of Budva.

You can see that the decor is new inside. Very small. Mass is twice a day I believe if you time it. Free to enter. Would recommend a five minute quick stop.

This is a pretty church right in the centre of the old town. Its surrounded by bars and restaurants and can be found along cobbled streets so enjoy a walk and have a drink whilst looking at it.

Staying at Aman Sveti Stefan enables you to swim in this private beach... actually they call it King’s beach as it is in front of villa milocher which was actually the private residence of the king, prior to being converted to a hotel. The sea is amazingly clean, clear and I simply loved the place! Recommended!

As you’re exploring the Old Town, stop by their museum for an hour or so. Interesting interpretation of local history going back 2000 years or so.

I went here with my kids it was lovely and peaceful, tho quite a nail biting ride through the mountains. We had lunch and after that decided to go to the plunge pool for a swim. My husband swam over under the waterfall and he seemed to have disturbed a viper as when he swam back a deadly water viper came out, we quickly got out of the icy depths and climbed the ladder. It was a lovely place but scared us with the viper, would visit again just no plunge pool.

This place got extremely overwhelming crowded. There was too many people and we practically sat on top of each other. Beach is not even that nice to begin with.

This monastery has such a beautiful location high in the hills above Sveti Stefan. We were there with a tour local tour guide for a private tour. This is monastery for ladies and has remarkable view of the Budva bay.

We loved the layout of the church, nice and spread out, while perched up with Seaview. There also were some bleachers there, as there seemed to be a show there later during the day.
