- Louise B38 contributionsMy children rated this the best trip they had ever been on. The captain and staff were very kind to them and helped them spot sea creatures. They felt safe and well cared for and loved all the snorkeling spots. There were three boats and everyone who arrived was allocated a boat, so their boat was not too busy. There was a range of people of all nationalities. Everyone was nice except one Spanish woman who complained about waiting for a group who were late to arrive- “I don’t care about them, let’s go” Fortunately the captain waited despite her selfishness. The boat was a little bumpy on the way out but the kids enjoyed the ride and didn’t feel scared. They stopped to snorkel then had a delicious Thai lunch in the shade with more swimming. There were more snorkel stops and a calm ride back. Fruit and snacks were served and drinks were available on the boat. The girls were so happy when they came home and had had a wonderful experience. - Annika F1 contributionWe loved this tour! It was well organized and we had plenty of time to snorkel at 3 different beautiful stops. We also had a 1,5 hour break where we relaxed at the beautiful beach of Koh Rok.
The boat goes really fast so if you get seasick quite easily I wouldn't recommend this tour. Otherwise I would highly recommend it! I would not disagree in terms of Emerald Cave which was unique and amazing. The snorkelling however was nothing special - cloudy water and no great depth. We choose the longtail boat knowing it will travel longer and we did enjoy all our time on it.
We head to the 1st island to snorkel 30min, we head to the 2nd island and snorkeled 30min, we head to the cave (it is on the 3rd island) and stayed there other 30min (I had my diving torch so could see way more than the other tourists) and as final stop, we head to the 4th island to have a delicious lunch and the longest break (=1h).
I am glad we took our find because they didn't provide that, but they did give mask and snorkel.

Having said that, Tin Adventures is organised and makes sure everything runs smoothly. They have lots of water during the day, a few snacks, a great boat, and friendly staff. - Trina O1 contributionWhat an incredible day! We saw so much of Phi Phi island and the amazing surrounding bays, about 90 mins of snorkelling in total. Lunch was delicious and there was unlimited water plus a soft drink. The staff were so kind and considerate! The tour was excellent, giving us plenty of time to do what we wanted. Lunch was very nice, fresh veg, chicken and curry. The boat we had was for 3 - 5 people, we were 5 people so it felt fairly basic and didn't have much cover jurying the journey out to the islands - so be prepared to get wet if the sea is rough. Once we got around the islands it was incredible, the two captains were so so lovely and took us to nice quiet spots. We stopped for lunch on a very secluded beach and ate a homemade curry which was one of the best we've had since being in Thailand. We did ‘only’ snorkeling since my girlfriend has no diving license and it was unbelievable. We have been picked-up at our hotel and me met the small group at the pier. We have been offered breakfast and refreshments before leaving Ko Lanta. The ride was very comfortable and relaxing and we arrived at Ko Rok in one hour. First stop was incredible, one of the best snorkeling we ever done: great visibility, reef, variety of fishes (and shark!). Just a few minutes to enjoy some fresh fruit and jump of the boat again in another location where we had another breathtaking experience. Last stop was lunch offered in paradise: white sand, cristal clear water and no one around. The staff was always helpful and attentive to everyone needs, including explanations of all the fishes we saw. Unfortunately after that we had to go back to Ko Lanta. This is one of the day you don’t want to finish.
