- Akshay SharmaNew Delhi, India10,926 contributionsWe visited this place while we were touring for Rann Utsav 2025. Its a unique and an amazing place. We visited this place on Makar Sankranti when the whole public and tourists were busy flying kites. A remarkable and a memorable visit indeed.Written January 22, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Akshay SharmaNew Delhi, India10,926 contributionsWe visited this place while we were touring for Rann Utsav 2025. This is an excellent piece of art and a place of worship. The artwork is tastefully done up not only for the main temple but also for the red stone gate at the entrance. One should check the timings of temple closure which is usually from 1200 hrs to 1500 hrs.Written January 22, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is a gau shala in the complex. Visit both the temples.Written December 25, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AmrithaMSThrissur, India22 contributionsThis is a good place to visit if you are interested in history. Gives a glimpse of Kutch empire. Sadly in poor condition. I heard people commenting.. " old does not mean one should not clean it.". And I agree with that. Totally non interested staff who does not have any clue what treasures they are taking care of. Nearby Prag Mahal is okay.. maybe good for social media enthusiasts. You can finish both in 2 hours. If limited by time, choose Aina Mahal. Cost of entry is minimal. There is an extra cost for camera..Written January 5, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Akshay SharmaNew Delhi, India10,926 contributionsWe visited this place during Rann Utsav 2025. This is an amazing place which brings out the emotions related to Indian History with Audio Visual effects. One has to travel from room to room to live the life in those periods. It has lawns, canteen, toilets which are well maintained. During night time there is a laser show. The garden and the fountains are beautifully lit up during the night time. A truly fascinating and a must visit place.Written January 22, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Rocks78New Delhi, India37 contributionsThe place is nice and a unique experience to cherish after climbing 200 stairs and sight of bhujang temple dedicated to sheshnag. Only drawback is public utilities. Parking is available but totally at own risk as there is no one to guard. Carry water with you as no shop at location. Without tourist season there is no crowd. Hence young couples to avoid as it is isolated. But definitely a unique place for group tracking and a wonderful view of bhuj city. Public utilities are under construction and it may take a year for completion.Written June 29, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Akshay SharmaNew Delhi, India10,926 contributionsWe visited this place while we were touring for Rann Utsav 2025. The palace is beautiful and well maintained. The palace provides a good backdrop for taking beautiful photographs. Some renovation works were in progress. There are good shops outside the palace for the dresses. A must visit place while in Bhuj. There is an Aina Mahal next to this place.Written January 22, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Akshay SharmaNew Delhi, India10,926 contributionsWe visited this place while we were touring for Rann Utsav 2025. This is a unique museum of a kind not built anywhere in India. The entry ticket is costly but is worth it. It is similar to Hiroshima museum wherein details of the incident have been vividly captured. There are multiple guides who take you through various aspects of the museum starting from why earthquakes occur,Written January 22, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PJT1009Farnham, UK62 contributionsDespite the extensive damage which occurred during the 2001 earthquake and which is still clearly visible, this site is still well worth a visit. You don't have to be a professional photographer to take stunning shots here. A good place to take time out of the daily bustle of city life.
