Jose Etxebarria is passionate about his project of helping children in the Battambang region, especially children custom of sexual abuse. Don’t go there if you are in a rush, take the time to listen to his story. And to support his project, you can buy one of his beautiful photos. Really worth it

Worth a quick stop if you're passing by. It's right in the middle of a roundabout but is fairly easy to cross over to. Day and night people are leaving gifts etc. at the foot of the statue as the traffic passes by.

So spiritual, so beautiful, so clean, what a place to mediate and feel close to whatever greater source you believe. So peaceful. Loved it

Excellent experience of a traditional, well-preserved Khmer house. Built in 1920, it was spared in the wars thankfully and has some beautiful furniture. Mrs. Bun Roeung sadly recently passed away, but her niece is deightful and gives an excellent tour. It is only $2 per person and well worth the stop. She also sells some nice and well-priced souvenirs.

After learning so much about the tragic history of Cambodia, but mainly up until 1979, it was fascinating and optimistic to visit this museum dedicated to the peace process. An absolute must for this visiting, particularly if you have been to other sites / monuments related to the Khmer Rouge regime!

We stopped at this pagoda during bike tour and thought is was very lovely. Some very cool statues and designs all over the grounds as well as neat flowers. There are also some very fancy shrines around the grounds.

This market was reportedly built in the 1930s by the French, according to the art deco style. Its now showing a lot of wear, unfortunately.

The ice photos on the second floor are astonishing! They made me want to redo my house so I had room for a few. Sadly, there is no way. I've never seen this method and it works. Absolutely worth finding the gallery. View the video to understand the artist's process and how he came to do this kind of work.

Samaki is close now, no more show or anything...Better to go to Lotus Bar, or to Woodhouse restaurant to see some painting...

First check out the wooden bridge before going into the Temple.
This Temple is very colourful. Think you probably need a guide though to bring to life what many of the statues mean & the stories behind them.
    Well worth a visit.

Beautiful place, displaying the most interesting and beautiful statues of all the many pagodas I visited inside and outside Battambang. Totally worth paying a visit.
