- Julie GSao Paulo, SP128 contributionsWe visited this library today and it is very clean, organized and has good staff. There aren't that many books, but there are lots of computers and quiet rooms to study. Nice games corner and kids corner.Written April 22, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Eliana C7 contributionsIt's easy to go to, since it's next to the Carandiru subway station. However, it's important to be careful with your belonging when walking outside the library. Once I was walking there typing on my phone and a guy on a bycicle stole it from me. The inside of the library is super beautiful and colorful. The ground floor is specially for the use of teenagers and children, while the upper floor is more for the adults. They have activities there for all ages every month, which you can learn about in their booklets. The staff is very friendly.Written June 27, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

They have workshops, exhibitions, shows, presentations, courses, cinema showings, soirées, and special projects consulting about their subjects. They have a little shop with beautiful typical hadcraft and fine ethnic jewelry.
The old mansion where the Center works is a special place too, an architecture's thesaurus.Written January 25, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - BinkIGZeist, The Netherlands35 contributionsBeautiful house and gardens, very kind staff and the entrance is free.
Gives a good impression on how the well to do art lovers lived in the previous century.
Neighborhood is also worthwhile and a big contrast with the down town concrete jungle. This is the Beverly hill of SP.Written May 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
