What travelers are saying
- carlosmpRio de Janeiro, RJ4,600 contributionsNice venue for expos, well situated in the heart of downtown, easy access by underground. Not large but adequate for art expositions, worth watching because some nice activities may happen there.Written December 12, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LuizDutraNetoRio de Janeiro, RJ8,621 contributionsAt historical "Praça Tiradentes" in downtown Rio, three old and important buildings were totally restored and turned into this real jewel of Brazilian popular crafts: the "CRAB - Centro de Referência do Artesanato Brasileiro". Inside these buildings, galleries bring traditional crafts from all over Brazil for temporary exhibitions. At a modern shop, an opportunity to buy crafts made by popular artists. A small coffee shop completes the scene! Unmissable by all those interested in traditional and popular crafts. The main building, built at the end of the 18th century, known as "Solar Visconde do Rio Seco", housed important ministries during Imperial and early Republican years. As it is downtown, it is strongly recommended to use taxis at all times. Check CRAB's program on its site and organize your visit. Enjoy!Written September 19, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- federacchiMontevideo, Uruguay42 contributionsAmazing experience, I went two times, in a week because the first Saturday of the month they do an open studio day, food trucks, music, roof top jazz, a lot of people and fun! Really recommended.Written August 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- pauljanhDetroit, MI137 contributionsWe went to the Scenarium on Dec. 30. The music was excellent samba, that make you want to get up and groove. The musical talent was great! It is three stories, and the decorations of antiques and quirky collections of collectibles were a feast for the eyes. My wife and I are in our late 50's and our sons in our 20's had an equally great time. If you love international music and you are in Rio, the Scenarium is a must stop.Written January 10, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
