Caminhos Language Centre Rio de Janeiro
Apart from affordable classes, the school offers daily activities that range from beach volleyball, samba lessons, city tours, parties etc. - all that which making friends and practicing your Portuguese very fun.
Also every day there are outside of class activities to explore this great city of Rio and do it with friendly travelers which is both fun and helpful!
I also enjoyed the after school activities they had available like capoeira & samba classes, tourist visiting sites, sports like fut volley & SUP at the beach and nightlife on the weekends.
The daily language tips received by email are useful, the well composed class slides are easy to follow, and the commitment of the teachers is inspiring!

Helio is a fantastic teacher, he teaches a fun class, we had a lot of laughs as well as actually understanding the basic steps of samba.

Cook In Rio Rio de Janeiro
Chef Simone's cooking class was one of the highlights of my stay in Rio! Her energetic and humorous teaching style made learning some of my favorite Brazilian dishes such an enjoyable experience.
Simone is an excellent and engaging host, peppering the class with insights into Brazilian life and culture as well as cooking tips for everyone.

Oh yes it's a cooking class so you'll be happy to know that you'll be educated in the food and drink that you help prepare and consume - the guiding hand of Yara is both expert and encouraging (ideal in a teacher)...
After a lesson in caipirinhas with Richard, we all helped prepare and then eat food from Yara's home state of Minas Gerais, which was a treat.
I took 6 hours of classes over a 6 day period with Manuel, who speaks enough English to correct my bad habits and get me kiting upwind, (and even some transitions).
Brazilian Cooking Class Rio de Janeiro
Adelaide’s cooking class was a highlight of our Brazil trip!
We took Adelaide's class with a group of friends this weekend!
