- Ericdmc85Edinburgh, UK155 contributionsThis part of Brazil is really beautiful with relatively small amount of tourists, many areas require a 4x4, or organised tours which can be expensive.Written March 12, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - gabrielacoutinho87Sao Paulo, SP33 contributionsThis place will make you cry. Or laugh, or pray, or meditate,or fall in love. The beauty of this special place in touching. A gift for the soul. Try to avoid the high season, so you can really experience this in a very deep way.Written September 3, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - gabrielacoutinho87Sao Paulo, SP33 contributionsI very saw anything like this waterfall. Must come and see by yourself. What a surprise! The water is pretty cold by worth every shiver.Written September 3, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - davidoffskiLeiden, The Netherlands233 contributionsThis is aprox. half an hour driving from Carolina and you need to arrange a guide to accompany you with the climb. The climb is difficult and tiring especially in hard sunshine. Make sure you take protection against the sun and insects and wear good shoes for climbing. On top you are rewarded with splendid views. Climbing down is less tiring but more difficult. Don’t forget to bring plenty of water as well!Written December 31, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ben C3 contributionsI am very happy we came to Carolina and had the services of Rodrigo, he was an excellent guide, very informative, helpful, attentive and a great photographer. The tour was really well organised with great communication. The waterfalls and scenery were spectacular, every stop on the 3 day tour had a little something different. A great touch was the snack bar and water in the back of the 4x4 for us to nibble on (dulce de Leite my personal favourite). The lunch stops were all really good quality and very delicious. We all really enjoyed the afternoon tea stop on the last day at a local farm, with some delicious home made snacks and juices with really lovely hosts. An added bonus was the animals we saw on the journey from foxes to Araras and even a huge (for me) spider. We loved every minute of the tour and I would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting the area.Written January 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lowalaSeoul8 contributionsI joined 3 tours, one is Cardosa, another is Lencois, the other is Lancha.
I enjoyed each tour very much, Lencois is the best, of course, followed by Cardosa and Lancha.
The company helped me to arrange multiple tours so I could complete 3 tours in 2 days as well as transportation from/to Sao Luis & Barreinhas. Hope everyone to enjoy~Written July 10, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The pickups were always on time, the service was friendly and professinal. Roberto was on top of everything and always making sure all was running smoothly. Definitely using them again on a future trip to the Lençóis.Written September 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ericdmc85Edinburgh, UK155 contributionsWent here for a day, you have to pay to get in, this gives you access to the pool, but to do any of the water falls /tours or other activities, you need to pay additional costs.Written March 12, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Luiz TassoSao Paulo, SP65 contributionsAn amazing landscape.
A place to visit with peace of mind, as journeys are long and must be done in off-roads vehicles.
If you like to be in deep contact with the Nature and taking bath in the waterfalls you will be in the perfect place .
Poço Azul, Encanto Azul and Cachoeira de Santa Bárbara are breathtaking, as are Capelão and Pedra Caída Waterfalls. São Romão and Prata are beautiful.
Don't waste time going to Chuveirinho or Dodô, as well as Encanto das Águas.
Morro do Chapéu requires excellent physical preparation. The climb is 90 degrees and the terrain is uneven.Written September 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
