Kinns has the charter fishing thing covered. Our group of 4 fished with Captain Brett and deckhand Grant out of Port of Algoma August 2 & 3, 2023. These two did a tremendous job getting us on fish. They were so pleasant to be around and made sure we had a great time. I have never seen someone fillet fish as fast and accurately as Brett, it was crazy to watch. I absolutely recommend Kinns for going on Lake Michigan to catch quality fish. Hands down, Kinns boats and overnight condo accommodations were great. I will be back for an annual trip. Thanks Guys!

Epic fishing and so convenient. We did an 8-hr deluxe (See their website for details). The condo was great, sleeps 7 and was a 5 minute walk from the dock and next door to the winery, brewery and pizza. We also wanted a evening charter the night before, which they currently don't do, but the set us up with another company that did - very helpful!

Fishing was great - all of their equipment was top notch and there were no problems with any of it not working correctly (a problem with other outfits we have used). Got 26 fish - 4 nice Chinook, 5 Lakers with the rest being Steelheads. All filleted and bagged on the way back to the dock. Adam and the mate were super helpful.

My wife and I have been fishing with Byron from the first year he started as a charter captain. Sometimes twice a year, JULY and AUGUST. Best charter on the big lake. We have caught tons of salmon and trout over the years and always leave with a positive experience. Will be back next year for sure. FRED and MARY KELLY. Elgin,Mn.

I was able to get out with Matt on a quick day for Small mouth on Lake Michigan. I had a lot of fun and we caught some nice fish. He is a very good guy. Honest, straight forward, and a lot of fun to fish with. I will make arrangements to fish with him again and highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a guide.

Purchased a Groupon to try ice fishing for whitefish. We arrived at the meeting place at 8:00 AM but didn't head out until 8:45. The guide that was driving us out wanted to wait to see if another group showed up. We got to our shack which was clean and warm and our guide set up the Vexilar and showed us the technique to use. It took awhile to get the hang of it but we did catch fish. We didn't limit but went home with fish and had fun so it was a successful day. They loaded us up at 2:30 and we thought that we were heading in but our guide said that he didn't want to make two trips so he wanted to take more people in at once. The problem is that we sat on the utv for about 20 minutes and it was a cold windy day. This is my only issue for the day was the transportation. We were there on time so we shouldn't have made us wait for another group that was late and if they wanted to haul everyone back at the same time then tell everyone to be ready at a certain time so people are sitting waiting for others to stop fishing and gather their gear. The Groupon was for 6 hours but we only got to fish for 5 which isn't that big of a deal but wasting the other hour waiting around is. I would still do it again but I would be more insistent about getting on and off the ice. It's not that long of a ride so make multiple trip
