- EuroEriTokyo Prefecture, Japan364 contributionsEasy and fun stop with ample parking options close by. The Buddha grounds were pretty and Sakura were in bloom. Cost for entry was low. For three people and one free child it was ¥750. Not a far walk past entry to see the buddha. Toilets within the grounds too.
*due to covid you currently can not go inside the BuddhaWritten March 26, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Della GCoquitlam, Canada808 contributionsThis is a very charming electric light railway transportation that has a retro feel to it. We took this light rail from Kamakura station and hopped off about three stops later to get to our hotel. Even then it was quite a hike to reach our accommodations. This is a privately owned rail system that dates back to 1902 and only runs for 10 kilometers and has about 15 stops. So from the Kamakura station to the end station at Enoshima takes about 30 minute ride and takes you to the major temples and nearby stops. We only took it from town centre to the closest stop to our hotel a few times but it was very enjoyable ride.Written June 16, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Della GCoquitlam, Canada808 contributionsWhat's not to like about strolling along a beach? Perhaps it is not the most pristine beach on this part of the shoreline but it offers an expansive bay view of the shore and view of the distant storefronts and buildings. There are fishing boats on shore and surfers in the distant. Great area to see the sunset.Written June 19, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MissOwlieOss, The Netherlands200 contributionsWe went to the Inamuragasaki Cape to watch the sunset. It was a beautiful, calm and place, sitting on the rocks watching and listening to the waves. We hoped to see Mount Fuiji but sadly there where to much clouds. But the view was still very beautiful.Written April 1, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Della GCoquitlam, Canada808 contributionsIt was very convenient for us to spend some time at this beach as our hotel was right across from it. It was a great afternoon for strolling as it was a sunny day and the temperature was quite mild for November. It is an expansive area to stroll along and there were local surfers out on the surf. This must be a pretty popular area when the surf is high. Nice to take time out from a hectic schedule of daily sight seeing. Nice to zone out and enjoy the sunshine and sea breeze.Written June 16, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- QueenParadoxSalem, OR4 contributionsSmall but well-kept. Collection of different colored water lilies indoors and a variety of fragrant roses when in bloom. Still seen as an interesting addition to the gardens if you go as a Caucasian visitor, and I had friendly encounters with new people each time I visited.Written January 29, 2013This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- WadeB_travelSt. John120 contributionsOn the hiking trails. I started at Kita-Kamakura, visited several of the temples/shrines there (Kenchoji was my favorite - be sure to climb to the observatory from there, breath-taking view!). Enjoyed the stop to see the statue - was on my way to the Great Buddha!Written December 11, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Della GCoquitlam, Canada808 contributionsMost Japanese ponds are a wonder to behold. It has it standard arch bridges and tranquil garden areas and walkways surrounding the pond. The ponds are always filled with active mini schools of koi and are always engaging to observe. We were there in late autumn and were captured by the autumn colors on the foliage. Very much a picturesque and photo op surroundings.Written June 28, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
