- Ruth SBellevue, WA702 contributionsLoved driving through the park enjoying different views and lots of photo ops. Visited on a beautiful summer weekday and we were fortunate there were very few people.Written September 12, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PREugeneEugene, OR22 contributionsDon't miss this -- easy drive to top (lots of switchbacks); saw many people hiking or biking to top. Beautiful views all around. It's a great sunset spot!Written September 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- solerpoweredSaint Charles, IL76 contributionsGreat views of Anacortes. It was easy to get to and stunning in the early morning light. We want to come back!Written September 26, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- PREugeneEugene, OR22 contributionsLoved going there. Day was overcast and still it was beautiful. Can only imagine what it is on a sunny day. Make sure you take the trail going to Bowman Bay - an easy 1.5-2 miles each way (it was hard to keep track...), it is absolutely beautiful.Written September 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - secretsparrowLos Angeles, CA11 contributionsThis is an experience that shouldn't be missed! It was amazing to be right next to a wolf (many of them in fact) and to look into their eyes and really see just how majestic they are. A lot of care, concern and compassion are shown to these wolves (and all the rescue animals at this facility) by their care takers and it shows. It is unfortunate that these animals are where they are but they are not being exploited and they are being very well cared for. The love that each handler has for them totally comes across. My husband and I have some great photos of us and Max (one of the wolves who likes to take photos) and I shared them with friends and family who all said "Whoa!!!" We have one where he is yawning so he looks super fierce but he's a big softie (but he's still a wolf so not too soft ;>) Absolutely do this experience. It is worth every penny and then some. All the money spent goes right back into taking care of these animals and Ashley and her crew do more than an amazing job at providing them with the best life possible.Written May 9, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ClaireWithLoveGermantown, MD663 contributionsGreat farmers market with about 50 vendors and easy parking near by - free street parking for 2 hours even at 11 am. Bathrooms with flush toilets located next to live musicians. Chairs and tables near the musicians.
Fresh vegetables, fruit (berries), fresh Skyr yogurt, coffee, two wineries, scones, made fresh crumpets, ice cream, meat, seafood, cookies, caramel popcorn, hazelnuts, and food trucks (Phillipino, Mexican, pizza), and crafts including wooden cutting boards and boxes, jewelry, all natural creams, soaps, lotions, salves, and bug spray and gorgeous fresh flower bouquets.
I took my time sampling, having a snack (hot crumpet with lemon curd), talking to vendors, looking at the dogs and was there for 1.5 hours.
You could do it much faster if you wanted to make a quick stop. It is open Saturday 9 am - 2 pm.Written August 20, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The trails are well marked, however, and every time I go I find a different trail to explore. Some trails seem to be favorites for cyclists, but everyone I have ever met on the trails has been friendly and helpful.Written July 29, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mark TAberdeen, WA2,579 contributionsloved visiting the island but the constant requests to turn off your car alarm that was going off seems like an opportunity lost on those running the Ferries. Communication to riders was less than ideal, especially for conditions that were not on time . expect parents who let their young kids run wild. the scenery is absolutely gorgeousWritten August 10, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PlacervillewineyCamino, CA80 contributionsThe rooms are wonderful, stayed on the back side and so had a view of the bay, but also the rv park. On coming into the hotel they do a temperature check and have all the covid protections. Had drinks in the bar, no bar seating but have tables in the area. Also had dinner fish and chips and prime rib... both were very good.Written October 5, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I did not have a boat so I don't know what the marina facilities as such are like. One complaint is that the restrooms have to have a code to get into so if you are not a marina customer you are out of luck.Written June 24, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ColorWhizSeattle, WA39 contributionsI drove around looking for a shady spot to park briefly in town, and lucked upon this hand built rock memorial amphitheater. The stonework inspired me to look up more information about his hand crafted structure online. Quiet rest spot.Written August 1, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Nancy STacoma, WA76 contributionsWe just happened to find out about this community theater while planning our trip and called ahead to reserve seats (good thing we did because it was sold out!). They were putting on “Vanya and Sonia and Marsha and Spike.” It was hilarious and the acting was really good! We will definitely check out local theater groups more often on our future trips.Written June 23, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
