Lovely place to enjoy the peace and serenity of nature just minutes from DC. Trails are mostly shaded through the woods, some go down to the water's edge and some are on boardwalks crossing over a marsh area.
This is a fitting memorial to Teddy as he helped preserve many of the wilderness areas and National Parks that we are able to enjoy across the country.

I walked the length of Long Bridge Park — probably a 1/2 mile each way — and it offers great views of Reagan national airport and the trains that passed by parallel to the park.
