We found great results, but some are outside Alexandria. Showing results in neighboring cities.
Limit search to Alexandria.

They do a couple of river tours from Mt. Vernon while you are there, but you see everything on these cruises during your trip down.
For $28.00 I got a very comfortable boat ride on the top deck to enjoy the air and sights, a guided tour of the waterway shore sights and felt safe while doing so.

Lots of amazing information presented in a delightful way! 10 of us on the tour - you get to meet interesting people and learn about art! We've done many tours in NYC - this was our first in DC.
Hannah, our host, mentioned she's working on a new family-friendly tour, as well as a couple of other themed tours, which all sound truly excellent, so it would be worth keeping any eye on the Museum Hack team as...

I have had limo tours of various cities, but this is the first time I can actually say I was pleasantly surprised by how knowledgeable and friendly our driver / guide was.
The tour is reasonably priced compared to some private tours and I consider it a good value.

We took tours with Carolyn, Colin, and Rebecca for the National Mall, Historic Georgetown, Dupont Circle and Embassy Row, and Arlington National Cemetery and all guides were wonderful.
I have plans to take additional DC by Foot tours (U Street especially) and can highly recommend these informative, fun tours for tourists and locals alike!

Tour company was also very friendly and flexible when we had to reschedule our tours several times due to some tour conflicts.
We went to New York in November with Babylon City Tours & w loved it so much we had to try it again!

We were very glad to have chosen a private tour after seeing the massive bike tours during the day.
As I said, I did the Civil Rights tour, but I think Jeff has tours geared to other subjects as well.

I did the half day Monuments Tour with David yesterday and it was probably one of the best tours I've ever been on.
I highly recommend his tours for all levels, even those of us who are very serious amateurs.

We love segway tours, they are fun and fast and a great way to get an overview of the city sights and then come back to visit them at your own pace.
My wife and I enjoy Segway tours as they are a great way to see a city and identify places that you may want to return to further explore - ideal for Washington, D.C. which covers a lot of area.
