- EcoBeanMalaysia415 contributionsVisited the Petronas Twin Towers on a drive around the city. There's plenty of space for taxi's to stop and allow passengers out to take photos and walk around the base of the towers, without the expense of buying tickets to go up to the viewing gallery. Nice gardens with fountains around the entrance, and there are plenty of equally great architectural structures neighbouring the towers. Worth a stop even if you don't want to pay to go up the towers.Written March 14, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jake-from-LiverpoolLiverpool, UK1,184 contributionsNice green place and small lake in the heart of KL. Surrounded by trees and all the super hotel chains ...... so a good place to be based as well.
Lots to see and do around here including the Petronas Twin Tower's and has its own metro train station.Written March 17, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gene R JSilver Spring, MD11,270 contributionsWe took a Grab(16MR) from the Textile Museum to this hilltop temple. It was being dressed up with lanterns for New Years that extended to the side chapels. It's a worthwhile spot with lots of visitors and easy to get the next Grab(8MR) to the Mid Valley Megamall/Gardens Mall for lunch.Written January 21, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - thewiggies925 contributionsCharming old building housing many small stalls, most of which were crafts, arts, local designed clothes and traditional clothes. A couple of delis too, and several food stalls around areas for sitting and eating (although the food range was rather limited and basic - a shame considering the potential to offer something rather different). There were some lovely shops in the covered street outside too. If you’re looking for something different to the international mall experiences of KL, this is the place.Written February 24, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - irenevffDasmarinas City, Philippines6,020 contributionsthe KL tower commands a hefty price to reach the top so one can savor the view from there. we just stayed at the base and lingered a little
while waiting for the lights to change colors.
there are food kiosks around and a souvenir shop. a miniature replica of the tower was also on display at the ground floor.
there is ample parking but wifi is not available. we would have stayed longer had we not included the petronas towers in the evening itinerary.Written March 4, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is a large "Signatures" Food Court up on the 2nd floor but at peak times it's just massively heaving so go later after 8pm. The mall is right in the heart of KL and is vibrant and colourful and one of the places where everyone hangs out til late.Written March 17, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Located just outside of the city, I got there via the hop-on/hop-off bus (about 1hr from Stop #1). I paid at the gate (MYR 85.00). The Park is well set out, although set in a valley, there are easy walk paths to allow everyone to get around; a couple of the walk-in aviaries have double-door access which maybe a bit tricky in a wheel chair. Allow yourself a few hours to take it all in; I spent an enjoyable 3hrs walking among the birds.Written November 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Saie LapaziSydney, Australia967 contributionsChinatown in Kuala Lumpur is definitely worth a visit. Ignore the market street, focus your attention on the restaurants, bars, coffee shops and food stalls. And of course the little back street of Kwai Chai Hong is a must visit. It also offers amazing night time views of the Merdeka building.Written March 20, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Heli PHelsinki, Finland7,684 contributionsThe new Panda Eyes multistore dominates the sleepier stretch of this short street where most tourists will find themselves. For classier shopping there is Pavilion at the other end and many restaurants in between.
