- Barry H3 contributionsAn opportunity to get a small glimpse of the history and development of Malaysia. Painstaking efforts involved in the miniature making. - jgrob3Perth, Australia178 contributionsThe start of the track is easy to find but it has yellow tape over it, warning you not to proceed. The track up to the base of the rocky outcrop hasn’t been maintained in a while so is a bit overgrown & some parts have been washed away. It’s not a huge deterrent but don’t expect an easy hike up.
I found the trail along the bottom of the cliffs to be quite difficult to follow & ended up going off into the jungle a couple of times. It’s not really possible to get lost as you just follow the base of the cliffs but the path is mainly marked by bits of warning tape on trees so it’s easy to miss the turns.
The trail along the top of the cliffs is much easier to follow and the views are quite spectacular. Just be careful up there as there are steep drop offs on both sides & it gets down to just a few metres across.
I’d suggest wearing long pants if you can as the mosquitoes are ferocious and I got bitten many times. In addition, I think I was stung by some plants or other insects as I came back with large itchy welts in my legs.
Overall, it was a good, challenging but quite doable hike & I spent about 4 hours doing the circuit. Just be prepared for a track that isn’t particularly well maintained!Written July 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The waterfalls themselves were worth seeing and enhanced by the local children playing and having fun in the waters.
Only snag was the climb up. It starts as manageable stairs then as you go up the levels changes to a rocky path where you have to negotiate getting over tree roots and pretty big boulders, then it just gets ridiculous and you have to clamber over wet rocks. Too dangerous for me so didn't do the last part to the top. Got very nice views for the bits I did manage though. Saw a few monkeys but nothing too threatening and it was generally quite on a weekday morning.Written February 24, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Leo LeoKuala Lumpur, Malaysia3 contributionsGrow up watching initial D movies and series, u probably wonder how it feels to drift your car. Gotta say this is as close as you can be for a driftperience for a lifetime. For a Noob like me, it's totally SAFE to whoosh around at high speed 60kmh; Safety measures are all around the place so that if you crash, you're safe.

- Caitlin2014London, UK23 contributionsI did not expect to get the “all in one” experience when I booked Happy Yen through my hotel concierge. I was keen to get out of KL and explore the rainforest, instead I got an unforgettable lesson in local history, cuisine, Buddhism, life coaching, nature and Taoism. Yen is awesome story teller, I wish I recorded him! Prepare to walk, learn about the lessons nature gives us, jump in a river, jump (slide) in a 50 degrees hot spring pool and feel energised and in tune with your inner “simpleton” (you have to go to find out what it means)Written March 1, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
