This is a must do to experience the unique food Malaysia has to offer. I really
Like that they ask about allergies/ restrictions before hand. Stephen was our guide and he was amazing! The tour was interactive and educational. My best advice is to go HUNGRY because you will be full way before the end.

We have done the day time hop on hop off bus tours before in KL but the night light tour was new. The selection of lights were the most famous - KL Tower, Petronas Towers, King’s Palace, British Colonial Buildings.
Overseas visitors paid more for the tour than Malaysian’s but the locals got all the seats in the open section of the bus.
Hence trying to take photos was difficult through the windows due to the reflection.
Also, it was stated if you left your seat anytime, anyone could take it, so no one in the open section of the bus got off at any of the sites. Overseas visitors had to get off the bus to take decent photos.
The advantage of the tour was the convenience of being taken to the sites rather than catching a taxi or grab.
A better idea would be to have two buses one for locals and one for overseas visitors.

We had a wonderful evening tour with Reka! This was our first tour after arriving into KL and a great way to learn and taste a lot of the great food that KL and Malaysia have to offer. We spent most of our time on Jalan Alor Food Street, which is open air with many food vendors. The sights, sounds and smells were very interesting. Reka did a wonderful job to explain the dishes and talk a bit about the history and cultural influences.

Food tour with Karlson was great. Experienced a variety of food & food places that we would never have tried on our own! Quality & quantity was excellent at every stop. He even dropped us back at our hotel after to save us getting a taxi. Only disappointing thing was that he didn't share the photos he took

Great personalised tour conducted by our friendly guide, Aris. Took in lots of sights, from the slightly chaotic Chinatown market to the spectacular Petronas Towers. Caught up in severe traffic congestion on the way to Chinese temple, due to Chinese new year celebration but Aris worked an hour past his scheduled finish time to make sure that we caught all the sights on the programme, which was much appreciated.

We really enjoyed our cooking class. It was very intimate as it was just my partner and I in the class. We were made to feel very welcome in Fizah’s house and really loved the experience. We made curry Laksa and kuih kentayap. Fizah - it was delicious! Fizah and her partner were very friendly and helped give us lots of recommendations of the area. We really appreciated that she shared photos and the recipe after the class. Thanks for a fun morning!

We undertook a food tour with Siddoz which exposed us to the very many varied cuisines available in Kuala Lumpar, and he proved to be a very knowledgeable food host. Along with his offsider trainee guide Raja, we learnt a great deal about not just the food, but what goes into it, and the endless variety of what we might consider to be the nasi, mee, and ayam classics, and so on. Trying everything from unusual small cakes, flavoursome tea, various forms of laksa, tasting noodles everywhere from the real back street food scene to the new and upmarket, the night did not lack from a variety of foods and tastes. The tour also had the advantage of being able to be experienced within a short walking distance so the time was well spent. On a final note, bring your appetite. There's a lot to try and experience!

I went with my teenage daughter to Saadiah’s cooking class and had a fantastic experience. The market tour with Irene before the class was really interesting and a chance to learn about all the different spices and flavours in Malaysian cooking. Then with Saadiah we learned how to make chicken rendang. She was extremely patient and great at explaining how Malaysian dishes work. She also told great stories about her culture and family life that were as captivating as the cooking lesson. At the end we got to eat our rendang and the delicious sweet dish we also made (its name escapes me). If you have time, I’d really reccommend coming and doing a class with LaZat.

We’ve booked two hours Vespa ride on August 31 to celebrate Merdeka Day and it didn’t disappoint. Kudos to our guide, Kelvin & his assistants. We managed to see all the beautiful lights of KL, not to forget about Merdeka square, China Town, Little India & the iconic & lightened up Petronas Towers!

    Such an epic experience!

    Thank you,

    Roberto & Oxana

Harry was informative, funny and helpful while driving around the various sights. Parking was a problem so after intro, I would spend time at some of the places. I enjoyed the tour because it gave a great perspective of the city at night.

My husband and I had a great tour with Sam around KL! We booked it the day before we arrived in KL and the tour ended up just being the 2 of us so we had plenty of opportunity to ask Sam lots of questions! We tasted a whole variety of dishes / snacks that we otherwise probably wouldn’t have eaten in China Town (even though we are adventurous foodies!) and Sam was so knowledgeable about KL, its history, culture and food that it really did make for a fun few hours! Our advice? Do NOT eat breakfast before hand (we didn’t and still barely managed to get to the end of the tour!) and if you’re female, the tour includes a visit to a Hindu temple so dress appropriately (although I was able to borrow a sarong to cover my knees and still go inside). Enjoy!
