Great visit to Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan
We visited the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan on Feb. 24 while visiting from California. Myself, husband and teenage son all really enjoyed the visit. It was a fun relaxing time, it wasn’t too crowded and beautiful marine life from around the world.

Nice park in Tennoji
A pleasant park to stroll in. You'll find a small zoo, Japanese garden with a pond and few museums. Saw many families having a good time there.

Small zoo but worth a visit
Tennoji zoo is a small zoo but it has some attractions that are not common. Among them are polar bears, penguins and nocturnal animals such as bats and kiwi birds. It is worth a visit.

Cuteness overload
By no means cheap, this hedgehog cafe allows you to sit in with 2 hogs and if opted for the more expensive rates, you get a bottled drink and some worms to get the hogs. The animals look well cared for with the owners taking the effort to describe the temperaments of the assigned hogs. Overall it was a memorable experience so be sure to take lots of photos.
