I enjoyed my first Japanese ceramics experience. Anna was a great teacher and went over all the different techniques with me patiently. I was able to make a chawan with Anna’s guidance and can’t wait to use it when I go back home. Thank you so much for such a fun experience.
Thank you so much Toshi and Kamiko (I hope the spelling is correct) for such wonderful experience. They are so friendly yet professional. Toshi is an amazing teacher, he is patient and very encouraging. The place is nicely done up and an easy walk from the train station, thanks to the detailed instruction. Highly recommended to do this, you won’t regret it. Something special when you are in Osaka. I have such an amazing experience with them. Will look for them again in future if I come back to Osaka. Thanks again Toshi and Kamino san!
A cozy workshop; Jo is very kind and nice. We learned a lot about kintsugi and it was really refreshing to interact with a local. We got some in-depth insight on the kintsugi process, along with a traditional snack and tea. Overall, great experience and highly recommend to anyone looking for a short cultural and art-related experience!
An absolutely fabulous experience! My kids said it was one of the most memorable parts of their trip. We got to dress up, learn calligraphy, and take home our work as well as fans which we painted the calligraphy on as well. Very educational and informative. Highly recommended!
Ninja-Do was the highlight of our last day in Osaka! Our sensei was amazing—fun, knowledgeable, and spoke great English, making sure we had an incredible time. We learned ninja skills like sword fighting and blowgun techniques in a way that was both educational and super engaging. The sensei gave us personal attention, making the experience unforgettable. I highly recommend this place 100%—don’t miss it if you’re in Osaka!
It was so much fun learning how to make Temari. I really enjoyed the experience and I am looking forward to keep learning as I now have the basic knowledge. Mika was a really great and helpful teacher.
Awesome time, everyone was super friendly. Was in Osaka on holiday for only 3 days, but managed to join the Badminton in Osaka with Local Players session. Had 3 hours of play, then went to get some food afterwards with some of the other players. Definitely a highlight of the trip.
Super nice people to play basketball with and also a decent level. We were travelling in Japan and had a few days in Osaka, luckily overlapped with the session. Would recommend for anyone to join!
