Prior to the class I received a message as a reminder and with directions to the venue which was really helpful. Once at the venue, a private home, I was welcomed and slippers were provided to the kitchen area. The set up is really good and Fumi, our instructor, placed us in groups so we could work together under her guidance.
I thought I had stated that I did not eat pork but Fumi was kindly able to adapt for me without too much trouble which I really appreciated.
Fumi San's explanations and guidance were really clear and all ingredients and tools were available for use in a clean environment. She had a helper who was key in ensuring that things were in place and cleared away when needed. I had no clue that I would be kneading noodle dough with my feet (contained in a hygeinic bag) on the floor, which was fun!!
This was a great class with the techniques demonstrated and explained so it could be replicated with the correct ingredients for participants. At the end I enjoyed a lovely ramen meal alongside the other guests. This was a really good way to spend my time for an evening in Osaka and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this experience.

This class was a highlight of our trip! The instructor is clear and precise. She was fun and clearly enjoys cooking, teaching, and people. I never would have thought I could make good looking and good tasting sushi, but that's what happened!

We learned the tips and techniques to make perfect Osaka-style okonomiyai! Oishi! Keiko showed us how to flip the okonomiyaki to ensure the perfect crispy result. Keiko’s assistant, Kimmi, told us about tea and seasonal sweets. A wonderful time!

Everything about this class was wonderful! Fumi (the teacher) is knowledgeable and friendly. She made the class fun and comfortable. We had so much fun making sushi, miso soup, chicken yakitori, and Japanese omelets. At the end, we got to everything we made. The best meal we've had in Japan! Would highly recommend!

We spent a wonderful moment with Yoko! She is very nice and welcoming and made us feel very confortable at her home. The dishes were quite easy to do with their explanations and very good. We will definitely try to make them again at home. Plus, she gave us many tips (places to go for eating, shopping and visiting in Osaka and elsewhere in Japan). It was definitely one of our best experiences on Japan. Thank you so much!

My sister and I went on a last minute tour in osaka as we were not sure what to do. We are glad we went as we got to learn how to make takoyaki and we got a fun yet educational guide on sake and choosing the right one for you. As someone who barely drinks this tour was very fun and I got to trade in my drinking coins for some suveniors which helped :) loved that!! Thanks to MOMO for being a great host! You can easily see how passionate and dedicated she is to her trade! Bonus: she is located in the heart of osaka downtown. So afterwards head out and enjoy the nightlights! Thank you!!!

Fantastic experience. Kira was very patient with instructing me and as helpful as she was encouraging while also being a joy to conversate with. With her assistance, the takoyaki turned out delicious. Not a single negative thing to say about her or the class. Make sure to stay afterward because the fun doesn't end with the class. In fact, it gets even better when other foreigners and locals start showing up for a few drinks, hang out and sing karaoke. Definitely one of the reasons why Osaka's night life has the good reputation it does.

We had such a great time with Hisako and Naoko! We chose to make the bento box because I figured there were lots of small elements that could be easily recreated when we got home. Everything was very clearly explained by Hisako and Naoko and they were very sweet and encouraging even when our cooking skills were falling a bit short ;)
They are the kindest ladies and are very welcoming and easy to talk to. They are fantastic hosts! Everything is well organised and they gave us printed out copies of all the items we made and even a little bento box each to take home.
The location of the class is in a quieter, residential part of the city, but is easily accessible on the subway. It was nice to see a less touristy area. And we even saw a really cute shiba inu (!)
Definitely recommend this experience. It was very relaxing and a nice break from the fast pace of a city vacation.

Fumi was a wonderful host that helped us to understand what we were making along the way with proper technique. It ended up tasting and looking delicious
We will go away with a desire to make these dishes at home and knowing how to do so

Amazing and fun experience! The chef was very skilled and friendly and taught us different kinds of sushi with fresh ingredients. Tried cold sake. Yuka the host was so sweet, she spoke English well and welcomed us at the corner of the street for it was a bit hard to find. Would definitely go again! Arigato gozaimasu❤️
