These days there is little my 12 year old son and 9 year old daughter agree on, but they both absolutely loved this - as did my husband and I! You dress up in some simple samurai gear, learn some basic preparation chants and then go into the training. The guide made the lessons and scoring really fun for the shuraken throwing and dart blowing, so it never got boring. Then we went into the VR part, which everyone found challenging and fun. Highly recommend!

I attended a lecture in the Kyoto Teresa. The Hall was a very large one. It was including a fitness club, a pool, a sports hall and a concert hall. There was also a restaurant. Some posters shown a concert of a famous musician or a play of some stage drama recently. Here is not a sight-seeing spot, but maybe a local establishment.

Although the name says "park," there is no playground equipment or space for children to play; rather, it's more of a comprehensive sports facility. There is health equipment that can be used at any time by men and women of all ages, but it is limited to a small portion of the park.
As outdoor stadiums, there are stadiums where soccer, rugby, baseball, and track and field events can be held, as well as a baseball stadium. Indoor facilities include an arena used for swimming in the summer and an ice skating rink in the winter, and a gymnasium for volleyball, basketball, and various martial arts competitions. The sports facilities are not only used by professional athletes for practice and games, but are also widely used by citizen athletes.
On the other hand, accessibility seems to be a little poor. There are several parking lots in the vicinity of the park, but they are not park-managed parking lots, and the parking spaces are not large. There is also a parking lot within the park, but the spaces are not large, and because it's located at the edge of the park, it's not the most accessible parking lot to the various facilities. The nearest train station is Nishikyogoku Station, and although there are enough trains on weekdays and holidays, the station platforms are narrow, and the platforms become crowded whenever some kind of athletic event is held there. If you are planning to participate in a competition or event at this park, it would be best to allow plenty of time for your trip.
