Nested with the main Sapporo JR station Stellar Place is a major shopping centre located inside Station building. Multi-level of shopping and F&B outlets. From shops selling fashions for men and women, cosmetics, accessories, interior goods, music, books, toys, plentiful dining options and even a cinema.
The shopping mall 2 wings: Stellar Place Center and Stellar Place East and both has a basement level. However it is the The East wing that 6 floors of shopping fun!
Special mention will be L4 HMV is a famous music and DVD store selling both Japanese and international popular music & more. Most HMV has actually closed world-wide though. and L5 has a huge range of Disney themed goods + other cartoons character like Peanuts comic strip, Snoopy etc
But my favouritre will be the L6 F&B of restaurants serving Chinese, Korean, French, and Italian cuisines as well as Japanese noodles, sushi, yaki-niku style grilled beef, tempura, tonkatsu s++. We even took a dinner at 十勝豚丼いっぴん ニッセイビル店!
The floors here at linked to Daimaru shopping Centre, very convenient.
    Love the place!

It was interesting to visit the Sapporo Beer Factory. We got to try the different beers and we also had lunch at the Beer Garden. Beautiful place to take pictures as well

Could be just one of the many shopping malls in Sapporo but the difference lies in the quality of the merchandise and in the fact that the second floor features one of the most elengant stores I have run across in the whole city, YUIQ, where you can find mainly textiles but also iron tea pots (which is exactly what I was looking for) and many other products which are definitely not cheap but that will sure be a good buy and the best of souvenirs.

Inside this place are several restaurants and even a food court . A clothing shop Mont-Bell is also there. Outside are tree lined recreational space good for chilling away or just doing photo ops. The hotel where I’m staying the Sapporo Grand is just beside it.

This is a shopping area belonging to part of the underground walk from Odori to Susukino. There are retail shops and restaurants on both sides.

There are also many exits to the street level, so you can use this to get to different parts of the city.

Apia is located beneath the Sapporo Train Station and was convenient for a cheap meal. You'll find lots of restaurants down here as well as good signage telling you what is down each aisle. We enjoyed some very tasty KFC which included spicy miso chicken and crispy garlic chicken tenders. There is an overwhelming variety of options down here and it is worth doing a bit of a walk to find something you'd like to eat!

A nice slow ride with great views of Sapporo for only 600 Yen. We went during the snow festival and were surprised no other people on the ride. Easy to get to with friendly staff and worth the visit.

I bought cosmetics from Jill Stuart. My total purchase was Y12,350.

I went to claim for tax refund and here is the computation.

    Purchase = Y12,350
    Consumption Tax 10% = Y1,235
    Service Fee 1.5% = Y191
    Refund amount = Y1,044

The shopping and food variety is good, but if you are hoping to get a taxi to go back to your hotel after sundown, be prepared to wait for at least 30 minutes because there are not that many taxis turning into the pick up point.

We visited Shiroi Kobihito Park in the morning and were looking for a nearby mall for lunch. A google search found Aeon Mall Sapporo Hassamu to be short drive from Shiroi Kobihito.

It is really a very local Japanese mall. Most of the information of the mall directory are printed in Japanese only. For tourists, we could print out a 5% discount coupon for use in Aeon as well as its supermarket. The Aeon staff was very helpful to assist me in printing out the coupon from a machine.

There is a big food court with many local as well as Western foods. Impressed with the provision of free drinking water and cups. We had ramen, Oyakodon and spaghetti for lunch.

The Aeon department store is very huge with so many products. We like the supermarket too and bought local products and cooking sauces. There are many other fashion shops and Uniqlo. My kids were extremely happy to buy many Sumikko Gurashi soft toys at great prices too.

Wish we had more time to shop here. One will need at least one day to shop the entire mall.

Fantastic place to shop from household item to cosmetic to jewellery and food. Marui Imai Sapporo has Mikimoto and Tasaki Pearl at level 2. Staffs are friendly and ever ready to guide customers at their store. I was so impressed with their services that i ended up buying a pair of Mikimoto earrings no regrets.

Parco is a fashion department store. The typical customer is a young adult with money to spend on fashion. Both young women and young men in Japan are very fashion conscious. Uniqlo is one Japanese brand with a big following, particularly for their slim feather down jackets, which are very popular with young women. The jackets are warm without being bulky. Foreign designer brands are also in demand. This season's light coat will set you back in excess of $500.

This is a mall on top of Shin Sapporo train station. The mall is rather old and lacks liveliness. There are also many ramen shops here too.
