    Xi’an at its best!
    The tour was simply great!
    Xi’an is wonderful and the Terracotta Warriors is such an experience.. with the new museum near the Emperor tomb, wow, one of the most beautiful building I’ve ever seen.
    Carol, our guide, made the difference. She is so professional with a friendly attitude but above all, she does her work with passion. So she transferred to us great feelings about Xi’an history.
    Surely recommend!

    Wendy’s tour of Warriors Wild goose pagoda and the city wall. Awesome guide great personality and so much knowledge.
    Wendy was fantastic. She had so much knowledge about everything on the way to the warriors she answered lots of questions and shared so much history with us not just about the warriors but about Xian. On top of this she customized everything for us and helped organize our next tour (food tour) as she knew the guide and could rearrange things for us so it was more convenient. She took us to a great local restaurant for lunch and helped order some local dishes we had a great day also took in the wild goose pagoda which was so interesting because of the information she shared with us. The whole trip was so much better than if we had tried to do on our own just because of all the knowledge Wendy shared with us. It was well worth it and Wendy made the difference.

    Truly magnificent
    The guide was on time knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to skip all lines despite pandemic prevention measures and other complications. Meeting early like 8 am is re on needed to beat the crowds.

    Fantastic tour of Xi’an
    Tracy was an outstanding guide and gave us a great tour of Xi’an and its many offerings. She allowed us a lot of time at each attraction and provided great historical revenant background. We experienced the Terra-cotta museum, old city wall, bell tower, drum tower, pagodas and the Muslim quarter. The vehicle was very clean and well maintained. Thank you Tracy for an outstanding visit to your city.

    Wendy Wu China Delights tour
    We are so glad we chose Wendy Wu as our holiday company for a special trip to see the delights of China. The options available and brochure descriptions made the selection of our trip a simple step. The booking process and support including preparation of the visa applications was excellent.

    The trip was China Delights which lasted 18 days including flight times, and in our opinion it was ideal to see the main sights of China. The travel between the different locations varied from internal flights, a short cruise and the bullet train with all the usual hassles of getting tickets, handling your baggage being professionally taken care off by the Wendy Wu team. From arriving in China to our departure we were in the hands of an amazing tour guide called Amanda. This lady with the support of the local tour guides at each destination really made this holiday a delight!

    The hotels included on the tour were all excellent and the food in the local restaurants was very good.

    We cannot complete this review without saying how Amanda managed to make the trip so enjoyable. We were introduced to many aspects of Chinese culture, her special brand of humour and constant effort to make us free from stress in all aspects of the travel. The local tour guides also provided excellent coverage of their own particular locations.

    Knowledgeable tour guide with great service mind
    Stefanie was our tour guide for our visit to Terracotta Army and Huaqing Palace. Since the beginning, we're picked up from our hotel to the tour car which was spacious, comfortable and clean and the driver was polite. As I'm really into history, I asked Stefanie a lot of questions regarding the attractions and Xi'an. Stefanie was very nice and knowledgeable in giving us a lot of introduction to not only our program destinations but also other Xi'an's relevant history. She also brought us to have a delicious meal at a good local restaurant. Although her English is not perfect, she used easy and comprehensible terms to explain and give us information well. Overall, I'm impressed by her great service mind and knowledge. Highly recommend!!

    Urban 3 Day Xi’an tour
    Our 5 day visit and 3 day tour exceeded all expectations. From our arrival at the train station to our departure four days later, Cindy and our driver were punctual, efficient, and extremely accommodating.

    Cindy provided thorough background and historical information before every site visit. She even included hand drawn visual aids, drawing on her background as a junior high school history teacher! She could answer every question.

    She sought out our preferences and made changes to the agenda based on our input. Flexibility is her middle name.

    Meals were local, delicious and an education in themselves. Who knew Daoism recommends chewing your food 36 times?

    I would love to have a guide like Cindy in every city we visit!

    Great Xian Tour
    Lily’s Private Tours did a fantastic job organizing this tour! My friend and I had a wonderful time in Xian. Michael is a great tour guide. He is very accommodating and informative. Lily’s Private Tours is highly recommended.

    Terracotta Tour
    This was a wonderfully informative and well-paced trip. Lin was my guide and she was charming and extremely knowledgable, not only about the terracotta soliders, but Chinese history. From the point of pick-up until drop off Lin kept me engaged telling me relevant local and historical information and answering my questions with ease. She also went above and beyond with recommendations and advice for the rest of my stay in Xi'an.

    Private Tour of Xi'an and Terracotta Army Museum
    Our visit to Xi’an was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Much of this is due to our guide, Jackie. He was the epitome of a professional guide, knowledgeable, organized, informative and very personable. In one and a half days we visited the Terracotta Army Museum, the City Wall and the Muslim Quarter, the Shaanxi History Museum, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and had a wonderful lunch with a local family (who went out of her way to accommodate my wife’s food allergies). Thank you Jackie.

    Exceptional
    Amazing day at the Terracotta Warriors with our Guide Jacky. Met the Farmer who discovered the Terracotta warriors and got my book signed. You just cannot imagine the scale of this exhibit. The continuing restoration work and discovery of more warriors will be ongoing for years to come. Walked the city walls, amazing, 14 km long. Decorated for the Lantern Festival. Visited The Big Goose Pagoda, peaceful setting, beautiful, worth the visit.

    Great 2 days in Xian
    I travelled with my husband and 3 kids (10,8,5), I was a little worried at first due to the kids age and attention. However our guide Jackie made it so easy. It kept the childrens attention with lots of 'fun facts'. We saw some amazing sites, Terracotta warriors, Xian city wall, Big Goose Pagoda and so much more. We go to taste some local cuisine. I would not travel any other way, I would highly recommend this tour for families, it is so worth it.

    Facinating Night market
    We had a great time walking in the Muslim Quarter of Xian. Dodo, our guide, met us promptly at the Bell Tower Hotel and then took us on an amazing journey into Xian culture. She took us to 4 different outlets. Loved the food!
