- Zorinho88Belgrade, Serbia86 contributionsYou can’t see much while walking down the narrow streets of Shawan but it is very good to replace crazy GZ with ancient village for just a couple of hours. Oyster shell house was a really cool thing to see (I have see one more in Xiaozhou village). I didn’t have a local to explain to me the importance of this place but I guess this is how ancient Chinese used to live.Written November 2, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Scott M90 contributionsWe really loved our visit here. Hard to believe it is in the middle of the city. You walk in and go back 2,000 years. Amazing to see the craftsmanship and how they engineered the city. Wells that used sand to filter water and dams to control water. We spent about 2 1/2 hours. Lots of English signs to read.Written January 19, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- funt0travelwithGeneva, Switzerland376 contributionsThis speakeasy is just awesome. The first time I came here was 7 years ago, and every year the cocktails have been better than the year prior…. What a beautiful experience!Written December 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Julie15 contributionsMy family had a great experience on a multi-day cycling trip with Cycle Canton. Our group consisted of adults and several kids (ages 8-14) with a mixed range of cycling experience. Bram was amazing at accommodating and challenging everyone on the trip from the youngest kid to the more experienced cyclists who rode 100+km a day. Every last detail of the trip was well considered and adjusted along the way by Bram and Anqi —— the accommodations were beautiful and perfect for relaxing after a long day of riding; the support crew was professional and made sure our bikes were well tuned and we were safe on the roads; and the snacks and meals were exceptional. I highly recommend taking this trip to explore the off-the-beaten path parts of Guangzhou.Written March 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
