Busy, colourful, noisy, fun and most differently Russia’s version of a theme park. They do it well. Try it with an open mind and I’m sure you will enjoy. P

The old botanical park consists of an upper and lower park, connected by an underground passage. You can buy a ticket either to both sides for 350 rubles, or only to the small lower one. The upper area is large and interesting. There are many beautiful old park buildings, a suspension bridge and a replica of a dolmen, a pen with ostriches and peacocks, a parrot, an artificial low waterfall with a cave, and a sakura garden. Lots of flower beds with tulips. A pleasant place for leisurely walks. The lower park is smaller in area, with lakes in which swans, ducks and pelicans swim. There is a small bamboo grove. You can get around in 15-20 minutes of leisurely pace. Measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19: thermometry at the entrance, the requirement to maintain social distance, wear a mask.

The rides are mainly for children. The games are for both children and adults.
Many choices if you want to eat. Many photo ops.

This is really a place to visit!
I was there numerous times, the latest one being in November. This time around it was business, not leisure.
As a Russian I'm just glad that what we've built for the 2014 Winter Olympics is prospering and serves the nation. Since I was really busy those two days, I had no time to either enjoy spellbinding views up in the mountains or take an aerial cableway. Still, since I know the place very well, I'd recommend a café on the top or, if it's not to your taste, take some lunch box and hot drinks with you. It's just breathtaking to sit on a rock up there and enjoy both the food and awesome panoramas.
Strongly recommended! Must of the must!

A nice little waterfall no more than that. needs to take a short walk up to the fall, and be careful not to slip downhill.

There are many kinds of creatures and life forms. There is a pond but its water was quite dirty. There was also pollution on land. In short, it was obvious that they did not take good care of this place. But it's still a nice place to spend time.

We went from Sochi and it`s a half-day trip with kids, tickets as of April 2019 were 800 adults and 500 rubles kids, so much overpriced we almost decided not to go but this was my kid`s first aquarium so we did. The tunnel and fish-feeding show was good, i guess off season is better no crowd and no AC problem, over 1 hour stay in the dark is pain for the eyes, the photos we took without flash were mostly rubbish, they prohibit use of flash and heavily fine for it, so I recommend taking videos. There is a small shop, a cold-drinks corner and a public toilet at the entrance well-hidden with no orientation sign. Close by the bus stop and some 30-40 min drive from Sochi. I wonder why there are two profiles of the same Aquarium on TripAdvisor, one called Adler Oceonarium and another World Discovery Aquarium, that`s the same place. For kids there is a smaller aquarium in Sochi park Riviera and another smaller and cheaper place close by Sochi, they say.

With both a sidewalk and separate bike/scooter lane, the boardwalk is set up nicely. Renting of electric scooters is ubiquitous using an app but the best way is to cut a deal with a Prokat day-by-day v. paying by the minute or the hour and lock the scooter/bike up. Restaurants abound with the best being the Novikov group about halfway. Beach rentals (cabanas, lounge chairs, umbrellas) can be expensive if your hotel doesn't provide.
