If strolling in the fascinating gardens is your thing, then The Park And Gardens of Peterhof is the best place to go! Incredible landscape and fabulous buildings all over the park can blow your mind with their magnificence and elegance. And if you ask me, fountains were one of the highlights of this exciting visit. I can't recommend it enough!

Very nice and pretty. Beautiful in the fall. The water was a little brown looking. The fountain was gorgeous. Would go again.

Tauride Gardens surround the main building: Tauride Palace, which is now a government building. Gardens are located in the surroundings of St. Petersburg and they are opened to the public (the main building is closed), so you can come here with or without children and run, walk, do sport, sit or only relax, while you eat or drink something. Really, when I visited these place (October-2018), it was full of people (tourists and people from St. Petersburg).

Here in Tsarskoe Selo we loved a lot to promenade in parks, which do not want in Pushkin. One of them is this one,Litseyskiy Garden, adjacent to the square with Catherine Palace, the monument to Rastrelli, the Catherine Park with all these paths, ponds, brooks with cascades, the groves, monuments. The Litseyskiy Garden is confined with Sadovaya str. on south, looking toward the Catherine Palace, then with Srednaya(Middle) str. on the north, the Alexander Park on the west and Litseuskiy Lane on the east.
Here within the Garden are the Memorial Lyceum Museum, whose building was the lyceum in 19th century, where Pushkin studied and Znamenskaya Church. On these alleys on which we wandered nowadays, sometime roamed Pushkin and created in mind his great verses. So it is so good to sit for awhile on a bench among the trees and let yourself in reveries.
Beautiful little park, not to miss.

It was dream to attend a concert in the botanical garden. And recently it came true.
The whole atmosphere is great. You enter the Garden after its official closure hours (the concert starts at 9 p.m.), take a long walk along the alleys that curve in different directions and enjoy a concert under the darkening St.Petersburg sky and noticing stars coming up.
The idea is wonderful, the implementation could be better. We came to the concert on a rainy day. And although the rain was over, the chairs were wet. The staff covered them with plastic bags which was a good idea, but some plastic bags were torn. Still the staff gave extra bags without any problems. But if there were some blankets provided it would have been even better, as the night was cool and windy.
The path though the Garden to the concert was very nice, but the way back could have become more romantic if there had been some lights or candles on the way. Though when it is dark it is harder to notice shabby walls of some buildings in the Garden.
Anyway, I love this Garden, and I am so happy that I have finally attended this concert.
Strongly recommend if you are not limited in your programme. Very nice atmosphere and audience.

We did a walkthrough of the gardens and everybody around was just relaxed. Enjoying the garden, children playing and people having picnics.

Lovely clean gardens with many paths to walk on and relax or have lunch, although we didn’t see a huge amount of benches where we were. Located right across the street by the Church of Spilled Blood. You will see artists displaying their art and are wonderful to take home as souvenirs. The pillars and wrought gates are beautiful. We did not walk through the entire park, as it is quite large, and we were with a group.

Verkhniy Sad is a garden located close to the Peterhof Palace, near Saint Petersburg. It is a very beautiful garden English-style. In fact, when you arrive to Peterhof Palace, you walk close to the garden and you can see it. Very nice.

Alexander Garden is a nice place to walk. However, it location does it disservice - too many famous "destructions" - Admiralty Building being one. Also, the park could have been maintained a bit better. It is one of the attraction you cannot miss - one way or another but you will visit it.

Alexandrovsky Park is one of the some parks in St. Petersburg. It is located near Fortress of St. Peter and St. Paul and it is very beautiful. In fact, it is a very good place to walk, rest, come with children and play in the children parks. Very good.

Tauride Gardens are big gardens located in the surroundings of St. Petersburg. In fact, you can walk a lot of time and you are not arrive to the end of the gardens. A very nice place to walk, sit and eat something, relax or come here with children. Also, inside gardens there are a Tauride Palace, a government building, which you can not enter. It is a pity, because gardens, where there are a lot of people walking, are very nice.
