The cafeteria on the ground floor has a lovely view, very friendly staff, the same selection of sandwiches, cakes, etc. as in the old Hermitage and is blissfully QUIET.
I believe you can enter using your Hermitage ticket but we bought separate tickets on site for only 300 rubbles per adult and our daughter, a student, was free.
