On my way from the 'White House', which I wanted to see for its recent historical connections I walked up past Kudrindskaya Square Building, one of the 'Seven Sisters', the well known skyscrapers of Stalinist days, towards the close by metro stations of Barrikadnaya and Krasnopresenskaya.

There close by I saw the medieval looking entrance with towers and fake natural walls of the 'Zoopark', the city's zoo. Although from reading it sounded like a zoo of quality, going back to 1864, I didn't go inside timewise and also with a general lack in interest for visiting such places, preferring to go on safaris.

If you need an instant happiness boast and overload of cuteness - come to Zaycafe!

We love bunnies and have our own at home, but planned for a long time to finally come by. It was really a magical experience. The place is lovely decorated and arranged, there are rooms where you can play playstation, play board games or just chill out, it seems also like a perfect place to just hang out and work (if you are a remote worker or freelancer).

It's easy to find and right next to the Metro Ring Line, very accesible. Entrance is in the courtyard, look for the bunny sign and a pink door with bunnies will lead the way.

Staff is very friendly and professional. We purchased the 1 hour experience (introduction and tour and you then can be with the rabbits for a full hour. If you stay longer it's like 9 RUB per minutes extra. You can also get an unlimited day ticket. Check their website for discounts, so if you book online you get some discount.

They have little carrot sticks you can also buy and feed the bunnies.

I am a bunny lover and I was happy to see that they are treated well and have a comfortable surrounding. The rooms are clean and not stuffy, there is aircondition so the bunnies don't overheat. Bunnies are well groomed and clean, they have constant access to water, have cute baskets filled with quality hay they sit in, but they are free to hopp in and out (and they do) and spend tiem with their bunny friends. Staff ensures that people know how to approach them, you can pet them, sit with them, take photos, but they don't allow picking up or bothering them in any other way, which is very good. Kids there were very respectful and well behaved, a very good way to show kids how to treat animals.

There is a room with smaller bunnies and one with large breeds! So cute! Staff is contantly around to keep the place clean or to be there if you have questions.

It's an absolutely magical place and if you want to see how it is to have a pet rabbit it's a good way to see if you like bunnies. If you need an instant mood uplifter, come here. If you need a little cuteness - come here.

They also organize birtdhays and even date nights with their bunnies. What I also liked is that during covid they still took very good care and ensured that they will not abandon any bunnies, and ensured they were all well.

    We will be back!

I visited the place in early March, on Saturday. Together with my granddaughter.
On the one hand, living conditions of all those creatures are not the ones WWF buffs would set as an example. Still, they seem to be well fed, well-groomed and pretty agile. May stay indoors or take a walk outside if they so wish.
On the other hand, this farm gives a good opportunity to urban kids - who can hardly tell a horse from an alpaca sometimes - to acquaint themselves with Mother Nature's live creations.
There're multiple entertainment alternatives there too. Both for youngsters and grown-ups. Simple but nice places to grab a bite also.
To make the long story short - recommended.

A small park in the center of Moscow with beautiful views of the walls of the Novodevichy Convent and Novodevichy Ponds. Especially good here in Spring and Autumn.
Great place for a photo shoot.

Love dogs? Visit husky park to learn about dog sledding and, more importantly, spend an hour petting the sweetest pups in town 😅

In so-called ‘contact zoos’ parents are happy to pay for their children to have the special experience of cuddling up with, feeding and petting all kinds of cute little animals. http://bigtimemoscow.com/2015/06/17/moscow-urban-jungle/ This kind of zoo is often really small and viewing the animals can take as little as 20 minutes. However, the main objective is to communicate with each of its citizens, all of whom have their own names, habits and food preferences. They are also given fair breaks in a separate area when they are getting too much attention or food. The entrance costs not more than 300 rubles, and small meals are available for 50 rubles.
