It is one of the towns in Russia and around 1hour train ride away from the metro of Moscow.
It is known for St. Sergius of Radonezh's monastery, arts, and other cultural heritage associated with Russian's ancient past.
This is a trip where we also visited the Yurt camp! Yurt is a circular tent associated with Mongolians, Turkish, and Siberians' ancient house.
You can experience living like a local here and have a close encounter with camels, reindeers, bear, horses, etc.
One for the books!

Igor was very helpful when preparing the tour and he made it very easy to obtain a tour that was personalized to our specific demands. He always knew exactly what we wanted and how to provide it, not only when it comes to visits, guides but also restaurants and practical things. We had very good french-speaking guides in each town, as we requested. The restaurants were exactly what we were looking for. And he was also very flexible, had a very good level of English and the car was very comfortable.
All in all, Privilege Tour made the Golden Circle tour our n°1 experience during our visit in Russia and one that we will never forget. Perfect for a group of adults, but also for families with children, as was our case. This bike tour was great not only did it show me all the highlights but the tour guide with energetic and knowledgeable. In addition he was personable which was really nice in that big city. Bikes are in good condition. - niruDurbsDurban, South Africa337 contributionsThe ticket is quite expensive and covers three different routes in a 24 hour period. The red route is quite exciting and takes about an hour. The bus comes every 10 to 15 minutes. However the other two routes take about two hours each and buses come every 30 to 40 minute period. If the bus is full then you have to wait at the stop for the next bus. So personally I feel that not much can be seen this way. I definitely was not impressed.
