We entered on the south opening op de gorge and that takes you through a part of forest first and then along side the steep mountain cliffs. A creek flows at the bottom of the gorge, it’s beautiful! Towards the north side of the gorge the hike trail gets a little bit more rocky. This is still manageable for most people, so you can visit this place with children and other family members. Keep in mind that the temperature inside the gorge is a few degrees lower then outside of it. We visited in summer, with 30 degrees celsius, and inside the gorge it was very pleasant. We didn’t need a jacket then, but maybe in spring time you do. Close to the gorge is a (payed) parking area and a camping you can stay the night. This place is suitable for tents, caravans and campers. Very nice camping! Really good views from the top. Possible to spend even a few hours there contemplating and sitting on the benches.
