- feynmanKuala Lumpur, MalaysiaThe crowds are huge, but like any street market, the only downside is that you can’t find parking if you’re driving. The traffic around the market is also pretty bad.Written April 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tonimcallenFremantle, AustraliaThis is a huge shopping mall with a large range of different stores. The centre is clean an presents as aesthetically pleasing. On the lower ground floor there is a market like series of stalls which were fun to look through. Otherwise, there is a range of stores providing lower priced goods through to high end labels.Written April 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - outlaws_2000Limassol City, CyprusWe tried some street food, the grilled options and it was great and safe to eat.
Well worth visiting the market if you want to get a good view, feel and smell of a typical night food market of the region.Written August 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I was not aware that this is the market advised as KK attraction. - Soko37Budapest, HungaryNice sunny day, hot weather and first full day in the city. Part of water front is under reconstruction closer to golf course. Nice view to see, islands and fishing boats. - Hilary FUckfield, UKWe had a really enjoyable visit to this beautiful gallery. It's easy to get out here by Grab taxi and if you have a car there is parking. The building itself is amazing and the displays interesting.
The only disappointment was in the shop where there was a very limited amount of craft for sale and they do not accept card payments - really?? Apparently you can pay by bank transfer but we trieds this with both a Wise and a Revolut card but no joy. I think that the gallery needs to buck up its ideas especially as there is such limited craft available in Sabah. They are missing a trick.

All the stalls have the same thing, and are rather cheap quality. Definitely not handicraft, but if you want to pick up some touristy trinkets this is the place to go.Written March 24, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cheeps21Singapore, SingaporeAs a cooking enthusiast, I always loved to check out the local markets of places I visit, even more so the wholesale market. This is the source of all the cuisine in KK.
We went in the late afternoon when most of the stalls are closed but we still managed to check out a few stalls selling vegetable, herbs and spices. The highlight will be the fishery whole sale center where lobsters, octopus, fishes & clams are on sale with egrets awaiting for a treat. We also spotted a buyer from Welcome seafood choosing the seafood product for their restaurant.Written June 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - merc8989kuala lumpurWas fooled by the "duty free" statement and were disappointed when informed that it only apply to certain cosmetic products.
Very limited outlets and the wine shop products are not duty free although it does have decent collection of wine, whiskies and cigars.
Fortunately, Suria mall was next door and there were no reasons to stay longer.
