A pleasant staycation for 3 days 2 nights in glamping area. Upon checking with warm welcoming and great services throughout the stay. Get to know some of the staffs' name and it gave us a sense of belonging, which include Syahdan, Kamal, Faris, Faiz, Audi, Fahmi and Arya. Just got to know they need to have more than several job scopes in the park and the camp area, I can tell they are very passionate.

Thank you for the memorable experience!

The volunteer docent is so well versed! The tour is awesome we learnt a lot about Ipoh early days during the mining era. Highly recommend! As the tour is free I encourage visitors to moe generous with the donation as this is a private self-funding museum with no admission fee for visitors. The fund will be a great help for maintaining and up keep the heritage building!
Overall it is well maintain !

Perak Cave Temple is located around 15 minutes ride from downtown Ipoh. The natural cave is the temple itself with statues and wall paintings of Buddha and Bodhisattvas. Therefore, the temple earns the name of "Dunhuang in the South". Following the passage of the cave, it will lead you to the apex of the hill where you can enjoy the views around. A peaceful and culture-rich religious site to visit. Recommend it.

The flight of 30 steps or so takes you up to a platform under a huge high cave. Another 50 meters down it opens into a nice garden with a lake. Regrettably the hills in the background are being exploited ofr clay. Nice place for all ages.

Interesting place, sorry it is run down and not well maintained. This can be a good tourist hangout if it is maintained and developed

Oct2022. There are eateries and souvenir shops on both sides of this lane. This lane is only about 100m long so walk slowly and enjoy the view of the old buildings and the various businesses here. FrancisTLim.

Qing Xin Ling Leisure & Cultural Village has picturesque lake side and cliff views, old styled Malay, Chinese and Indian houses as well as double-bicycles with back seats (each vehicle can carry 4 adults plus a child) to save visitors from having to walk around the site. See 18 photos attached.

We caught the train from Kuala Lumpur to ipoh, trip was about 2 hours. Was relaxing and not as noisy as I thought it would be. The old train station, is just that OLD. Plenty of character, not a great deal of the modern day age there. But it was still easy to navigate your way around.

We were told it is one of the oldest cave temples here so we had to come take a look. Note that they close quite early at 230pm.

Beautiful temple but the locals told us it has not been well-maintained. Much overgrown vegetation and dim at some point, but it still has its charm here.

Grab a bowl of chopped tomatoes to feed the tortoises at the other outlet of the cave temple. We spent /497'd 30-45 minutes here. Best to see other caves in the area to make your trip worthwhile.

Mainly within Old Town area and a reasonable walking distance from our hotel. Leading from the Mural Arts Lane to the main Old Town center where the Concubine Lane is and the surrounding areas.

Not many that you can pose with (unlike those in Penang) but many to admire and take photos of, especially those depicting the life at that area. Similarly, a pity some are not well maintained and have been defaced or faded.

Good starting point to learn about Ipoh and tin mining history. Pare it with IpohWorld and a walk down Concubine Lane. Or a good rainy day activity for an hour. Cost RM10 for an audio guide which didn't really work well and you get as much info just reading the plaques.
