- Katherine D15 contributionsWent on a windy day and so there was a cooling on-shore breeze. Made for a few waves on the beach and there was an out-going tide with a rip, so not ideal for swimming, Relatively clean, but the neighbouring jetty for the mangrove tours was disgusting, full of rubbish along the shoreline. A massive cleanup is needed, an embarrassment.Written June 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Margriet RSalt Spring Island, Canada201 contributionsA long walk up on badly maintained trail but fun to experience to swim in COLD water in Malaysia. Too bad the park is not better maintained for visitors. This is my favorite waterfall of all the ones on Langkawi.Written February 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ThomFuMalaysia99 contributionsI think Pasir Tengkorak really needs some TLC from the authorities. The toilets were locked and the showers were not working when I was there. But that said, this little beach is GREAT for a morning swim, when the waves aren't too big. The sand is incredibly soft too. It's also far away from touristy areas, which means you'll get to enjoy more of the beach! Beach bums will definitely LOVE this place. P/S: I came here during the low season, so maybe your experience will be different at different times of the year.Written July 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Roberto PBern, Switzerland2 contributionsWe went here several times during our last trip to Langkawi. I must say that these were probably the best massages I ever had. Eric is simply amazing. Give it a go if you're in he area. It's affordable and well worth the price.Written January 10, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Wendy1 contributionWe did the UNESCO Global Geopark 2.5 hour mangroves cruise. It was amazing mainly due to the passion shown for the ecosystem by our very experienced and knowledgeable guide, Vinusha. This tour respects the environment and does not seek the tourist dollar by the harmful feeding of wildlife as do other tour operators. I highly recommend this tour as an enjoyable and educational experience.Written August 3, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Fiona DaBest1 contributionZip lining through the trees was really exciting. It is also a good breeze for a hot day. It would be best if you go there in the morning because it's cooler and not as hot as afternoons. Umgawa is one of the funnest places I've ever been to. Sometimes, you can spot dusky leaf monkeys around the forest and other animals so be sure to take a camera! I suggest to not take pictures with phones because there have been accidents where people have dropped their phones in the forest. It would be best to take a Go Pro camera as I did. The guides were also very friendly, Naim and Nina and kept joking along the way.Written March 13, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sarah LewisHarlow, UK918 contributionsAlthough quite pricey it’s probably worth it (£150)
Met on the beach at Dash resort, kitted out with life jacket, keep dry bag (for camera/towel etc) and rubber shoes. Had a quick safety lesson and off we went for a four hour/8 island jet ski tour.
First island we stopped off at there was a lovely beach, and opportunity to take some great pics but a bit too long in my opinion (1 hour)
Then went to feed the famous eagles (guide threw raw chicken into sea and down they came)
Stopped off at the Lake of pregnant maiden (named due the contour of the limestone rock) again for another hour.
Here we had to climb short length but steep rocks to access, so not for the less nimble !
Then we carried on and saw several other islands and had the guides take video/photos of us on our jet ski which was fun.
It’s quite tiring on the arms as you have to hold on tight, especially if you’re on the back.
All in all a good fun trip.Written January 7, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
