My visit to Langkawi Wildlife Park was an absolute delight for the family! If you're planning a trip to Langkawi and looking for a fun-filled attraction, this park is an absolute must-visit.

The park offers an incredible experience for animal enthusiasts of all ages. The chance to interact with the animals and birds up close left us in awe! 🦜🐾 It was a unique opportunity for our kids to feed and pet these beautiful creatures, and they couldn't stop smiling!

The photo opportunities were abundant, and we captured countless precious moments during our visit. The staff were warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable.

In summary, Langkawi Wildlife Park is a top-notch attraction m. If you're visiting Langkawi, don't miss the chance to experience this wonderful wildlife adventure!

We did the more expensive platform trip and it was well worth it. When we arrived to organised chaos, the tide was out and snorkeling was only an option from the platform. Only after 1pm or so could the beach goers actually snorkel out far enough to see anything.
English information was scarce and food was disappointing, and the boat home left 10 minutes early, not sure what would happen if you were still enjoying the underwater viewing chamber since there were no English announcements!
Would recommend the platform over the beach option

An amazing feat of engineering. The cable car took us up to the top of the mountain - breathtaking views. We took the sky glide to the sky bridge. All very smooth, everything operated by efficient Malaysians. Not crowded when we were there.

We booked this tour as we wanted to do a nature walk but did not quite want a trek. All last minute booking but right from the time I called Mr Fendi to when we left, it was excellent.

We went on the butterfly walk and saw lots of butterflies, many rare ones, 2 types of squirrel, monkeys and the highlight was to see 3 types of horn bills at the end of the walk.
I fully recommend a visit to the sanctuary and a walk with Mr Fendi.

I found out about this place in trip adviser and drove down together with 3 friends on 14 Nov 2019. Thankfully , the place was free of tourist that day and we were greeted by the chirping swiftlets flying outside, around the building . Upon entering the cave like entrance , the decors inside is very beautifully done up with the feel of a jungle inside a cave adorned with a pond with fishes and other decorative items .
As you walk along towards the end , It will lead u to the main shop inside selling many products but the main draw for me has got to be the birdnest and the tasty and chewy birdnest gummy which is like made from real birdnest and rock sugar. U can try it before deciding to buy . The surprising thing is that Its not too sweet and once u pop one inside your mouth , U will taste the aroma of the bird nest . I bought 4 box and got one free for $100 rm. I also bought 2 bar of soup made from extract of sea cucumber at rm 15 each upon heavy recommendation of the sales staff. I use it at home to wash hand and my hand feels clean and soft after that. It is scentless by the way.
Lastly , we had lunch at the outdoor restaurant and we were totally surprise with the good taste and reasonable price of the food esp the seafood platter aka crab in a bag and the Lala clam soup infused with lemon grass.

I will bring my parents and auntie there again for my next trip to Langkawi in Feb 2020

A place that you will not regret going to. It is run by 1 person called Jeff and he takes very good care of nearly 150 dogs. I promise you will fall in love with all of them.

I understand why there are so many negative reviews left by visitors. I agree, the place has much to be improved starting with garden landscaping. It needs more trees, plants to provide a more pleasant environment for visitors and animals.

Despite the heat (we had an umbrella and hats), our family of four did enjoy ourselves and spent over 2 hours there. We basically had the whole park to ourselves as it was the muslim fasting month. It was quiet, and something we really appreciated since everywhere else was bustling with hyped adults and screeching kids.

The animals looked malnourished particularly the carnivore. Nevertheless, animals in captivity are never happy looking. The lone otter broke our hearts with its cries when we were leaving and the birds were friendly and welcomed the seeds we bought to feed them.

The highlight and the reason we chose to visit this nature park was the mangrove walk. No regrets. Love how serene the place was. If you're not a nature lover you might want to skip this place altogether because it's just rows and rows of mangrove trees. The day before we went on a mangrove tour by boat and that was great too!

This is not a petting zoo, the other one is and more suited for young kids. I hope they could listen to the complaints here and improve on the park by adding more trees for shade. So much potential really.
