I did a live-streamed tour with Yusuke from Heygo at this park today. We saw a great varieties of flowers such as the red quince flowers, fields of yellow rapeseed flowers, white magnolia bushes on the hill slope, yellow Forsythia flowers, pink peach flowers as well as cherry blossoms. The flowers are all blooming and creating a paradise here with all the colours. There are many trails to walk to admire the flowers. A visit here is highly recommended and Yusuke is a good guide who gave us many great postcard shots of the beautiful flowers in its natural surroundings.

Good short 10 minute walk up to the summit and around 30-40 mins to get around the crater, we walked up through the clouds to the sunshine!

You can't beat 100 yen entry fee. Watch performances aimed at families (singers, cartoon characters, comedians), view horses close-up as they parade around before the races, grab some food, and cheer on the horses during several different types of races.

I can't compare it to other courses, as this is the only one I have visited. It was fun to walk around. Surprisingly this place has a history of 100 years and is the only track in the Tohoku region. It pleasant walking around. I think it would be fun with friends drinking and chatting all day and using the races as an excuse.

There were several food choices, but seemed overly appealing. I want to try the upgrade seating and would like to see more food than just soba, curry, ramen, and your standard lunch menus slightly reduced in quality to speed up serving, and slightly increased in price for the venue. I didn't enjoy the Kitakata ramen I had there, but I loved it everywhere else I had it.

Beautiful views! I was here at the beginning of summer when the snow was still melting and then later again. Both times it is equally beautiful and stunning.
The road is quite narrow at some spots and there are multiple blind corners where some people come around at the wrong side of the road. So I would afvise to take it slow and soak in the glorious scenery!

More than just a house, this small property contains several buildings of historical value, flowing hot springs and variety of flowering trees, including a Japanese zelkova which is over 250 years old. You can come with a picnic lunch and enjoy soaking your feet in the hot springs on the property. It hosts many public events including art exhibits, music and theater.

I went to the 《forest garden》 next to the Marusei Orchard. Here, the content of the parfait changes depending on the season, and I ordered a peach parfait (700 yen). Among the various peach varieties, it was stated that a little hard peach was used on this day, and when I tried to eat it, it was certainly satisfying. But it was sweet and very delicious.

The place is very large with variance nice vie and atmosphere. Although when I visisted the place on 2 Setember, the Ginko trees hadn't turned yellow yet, the walk way is still beautiful.

This museum is not hard to access and find if you take the train from the main station but if you walk it is behind the forest and hard to find.
It is a quiet museum with many Rodin sculptures and a library next door.

I hitched a ride to the top of the azuma volcano and this was in the way. You can pull over and park up. If its a nice day you can see all of fukashima. The bridge is very impressive but its just another cool thing ti see ob the way up the mountain.

I stopped at this Michi-no-eki whilst out on a motorbike tour on Sunday 23rd September (in a 3-day holiday weekend). The weather was glorious which made the views even more spectacular. There were several stalls selling local produce as well as a small cafe. Plenty of places to sit outside and loads of parking space (particularly for bikes). But without a doubt, the views were the most memorable aspect of this rest area.
