Ueno Castle is part of the charm of the town, you can climb all the way to the top (4th) floor for a nice view, and it is very quiet here compared to Osaka Castle or Kyoto.
The views and experience of riding the local trains was great, and very different to taking the bullet trains where all the sights are a blur.
