Beautiful building and not a bad walk from Tokyo Station. We specifically appreciated it because we were hiding from the rain and it has a number of shops inside. It was being set up for a big expo, and I'm sure it would be a great expo building. As a tourist attraction I would only do a quick stop to look at the impressive architecture, maybe grab a quick coffee and go, if it's on your way.

It is quite large and has a large selection of items.
There is also a cafe inside the store where you can enjoy light meals. There was a wide selection of dried noodles and dried foods.

Did our google first before we went to the service station. Quite difficult to ask questions so we just took our translation app.

I often come here to buy various Toyama made gift, foods or sake. They have a sake bar that you can have a tasting of three sake for ¥700. There is also a restaurant that specializes in Toyama food. Their rice is very delicious, can compete with many other regions that are famous for rice production. During harvest the me, they even have organic farmed rice in small bags for sale, these are heavenly.

For a local library and museum its quite large and of high end spec. Situated in Hibiya Park at the west end of Ginza its easy to find. It has an excellent exhibition on the archaeology of the area going back to Neolithic-Paleoloithic times. There is a great section on Edo Castle and a small section on archaeological finds in the Yaesu District of Tokyo (near the north exit of Tokyo Central Station) of the remains of a very early Christian Tomb from the Warring States period which contained a medallion which bears the inscription “Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception”. The explanations are in Japanese and no other languages so it's helpful at least to be able to read some Japanese otherwise its a case of just admiring the exhibits. There are some interesting paictures of Admiral Perry's 'visit' to Japan in 1853. Worth a visit

It is a archive museum that anyone can view and copy various official documents that are rarely seen at all by applying for them. They include constitutional law, decorations, and national contracts. You may be able to learn the history of Japan (especially Meiji Period) from those official documents. There are many foreign diplomatic documents by various foreign languages other than Japanese. Because they are written in the style unique to the official documents, you'll feel that they are somewhat difficult to read. But you'll feel the atmosphere of the people of the past year.
In the exhibition space on the first floor, exhibitions meeting the theme may be held. Admission fee for the exhibition is free, and various exhibits meeting the theme as well as official documents may be exhibited. Compared with other museums, exhibits and display methods are modest. But you may get a different impression from other museums.

This centre is a multi-lingual one and although only English and French was available on the day, with your smart phones, this will be a go to place to find that little events and joys of Tokyo. It has a great little souvenir outlet and there are always displays of Japanese culture. On my visit it was cruise shipping from the 1920s, tin toys etc. and freeeee!

We wandered into this place because our suica card was not working at the nearby train station. Their shop had actually closed 20 minutes ago yet the employees there still approached us and helped us.

One English speaking lady even took us to kyobashi station to act as our translator with the train guard and from there, our suica cards were fixed immediately!

Whilst we didn’t use any of the services or look at the merchandise of this place, my mum and I were deeply touched by how much they cared to ensure that we got back to the hotel safely tonight.

Thank you very much we are so grateful!
