Nice to go there to the park close to the sea, both day or night.
There are a lot of very expensive restaurants there.

This is the major pier for any cruise holidays in Japan. Yokohama's modern terminal is offers a pleasant boardwalk deck with an unbeatable panorama of the city. It is also conveniently connected to other major attractions in the port city.

The largest Chinatown in Japan is at the port city of Yokohama. The bustling neighborhood is full of Chinese eateries and boutiques. In contrary to popular conceptions (or misconceptions), it is neat and clean. Do come during weekends to experience its vibe to its fullest!

Entrance fee is 1000 yen, not that expensive comparing to other places. Place is quite easy to find. The view of Yokohama is absolutely stunning at night!! Highly recommended to visit at night.

Its a very spacious compound with every section laid out neatly, it shows the history and life story of founder of Nissin Mr Momofuku Ando. How he overcame his problems and came up with a noodle that changed our lives. It is very informative and the entire space is bright and easy to walk around.

There is also a huge area to DIY our own cup noodes (extra charge), please try!! Don't be taken aback by the long queues because it moves very fast, and there is staff there to allocate seatings for you. It was a really fun experience and nice souvenier to bring back.

Lastly, don't forget to check out the souvenior shop, i bought some really cute Nissin cup noodle magnets, a nissin noodle eraser and even a tee shirt with the cute chick mascot. The tee is not expensive and good quality cotton. They also sell limited edition cup noodles only available in some countries.

I left Queensland for the zoo around 1:00 pm. But between subways, trains, lunch and a bus I didn't arrive until 3:30 pm

And it closes at 4:30 pm !!! Why didn't I research this ?

Anyway, I power walked for 60 minutes between animals.
    The grounds were beautiful.

We went for the countdown 2020 and trains were still running after midnight so it was easy to go back to Yokohama.

The special countdown dolphins show was nice to watch.

The fireworks was awesome but only lasted for a short while.

On a hot summer day, it's great to get inside to see what the shopping center in the building has to offer. We saw a giant gundam, we received free gundam goodies, we bought an ice cream that was clearly nothing like the Venetian ice cream they said they offered.

As its name hints, Habor View Park offers a panorama of Yokohama waterfront. Occupying a small hill, it is a lush space with some nice landscaped gardens. Great option to experience nature while still in the city center.

Cosmo World is a nice amusement park with the kiddie rides on the mainland and the adult rides on the man-made island. The kids would surely have a blast because there is also a village made specifically for them. You have to cross the bridge to get to the adult section of Cosmo World. We tried the log ride and the coaster which dives into a pool of water, looks are deceiving. While on "Vanish", the diving coaster, I discovered that I was claustrophobic. As soon as the metal shoulder bars came down I was locked in a position where I couldn't move. The fact that there was very little leg room aggravated my phobia. This feeling of not being able to move did a number on me. My gf and I both agreed that the foam around the head bar did not help. There is a lot of head banging throughout the ride. We did not have time to get on the iconic ferris wheel as we had to catch the Access Narita Bus into Narita Airport.

I arrived just before the museum opened before 10:00 hours, its easy to find either along the harbour front or through Yamashita Park. The ship used to run between Japan and the USA regularly in the 1930s to Seattle. A one way system takes you through the most interesting parts of the ship, including the wheel house, first class cabins and dining areas. The engine rooms are beautifully preserved, there are other parts of the ship that the weather is taking its toil. Wonderfully original in it's detail, it evokes memories of past times. Before exiting there is a timeline exhibition of the vessel from construction up to her current resting place. A great place if you like ships and photography.
