If you are in or near the old town, you should defenitely stop by. This is a must to see, if you want to be captured with amazing photos and stories of the beautiful vietnam, then go. We also experienced great service by knowledge from the staff, and ended up buying book and picture. Further they ship to around the World, and again - take the time to visit and explore the museum as well. - Restandplay20 contributionsVan is the absolute best. Second class having done it pre kids 12 years ago. Van is so accommodating and patient and hosts you in her own kitchen unlike most of the other cooking classes. She will teach you to cook between 5-7 dishes - just wonderful - skills you will use forever. I came here last year and loved it so much. This year I brought my friends along the day we arrived in Hoi An. We all had a great time making our own special souvenirs to take home and my friends went back to make more!
The Lantern Lady is so helpful and patient, and she makes sure you have a beautiful lantern to take home. It was on a small island away from the activities of Hoi An. She explained what we had to do very clearly and with humor. Had known more about the bicycle tour matching with this class, I would have taken it. Just purchased a beautiful silver ring. Please go and find this place and support its local folk. Amazing place. I was very surprised at their workmanship , it only took us 2 days to receive 2 very beautiful outfits , it's good because they understood what i said and what i needed . The massage was relaxing and great, they make sure whether the pressure is allright. From the hotel pick up, we went to the local market to purchase the fresh meats, vegetables and fruits where Mo explains everything there is to know about the local produce. Mo also provides incites to the differences in cooking processes and ingredients between the north, south and central areas of Vietnam. We travelled by boat to Mo’s family home where the cooking class was held. Mo’s cooking knowledge and skill is amazing and the food we cooked was absolutely stunning. They were really quick to make the clothes and the quality was good. They also took good care of us, giving us water while we waited. All the ladies were very friendly and helpful.
