We got chance to join the typical ‘Basket boat’ at the start of the evening then on a small boat we were taken to the massive shrimp fishing nets where our sons could climb the bamboo scaffolds to winch the massive nets up. Finally - as the sun set we were taken out in to the estuary for a substantial bbq while we fished with rods. After plenty of food and drink we were taken back to land and a Grab ride home. The tour was great, the man who took us out showed us some local fishing techniques. They gave us free water and cold towels as it was so hot that day. - Monique H2 contributionsLuat and Vinh were brilliant hosts. Great tour with variety, fun and energy. Saw so many things we would never have seen if not for this tour. The cycling was easy (and I was worried), boat ride, rice production, fishing and river areas, farming and produce, followed by a beautiful meal made from local ingredients.
