We were recommended this museum by a friend and we were not disappointed. The images on display in the Fine Art Room are stunning and the collection of costumes and portraits from the various tribes throughout the rest of the museum are fascinating. We purchased the latest book by Rehahn and look forward to reading it now we are back in the UK. We would definitely visit again if in Hoi An.

The new gallery has many collections of Tales of Kieu, coins, banknotes and stamps. I am very interested in the work of overseas stories by Nguyen Du, a famous literary writer. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly to everyone. There is also free tea and coffee. Worth experiencing if you are in Hoi An

The house itself is the most interesting part of the museum, lovely old woodwork. The ceramics were interesting but limited.

Located right on the river...it in a good location to continue exploring the town. The ticket I had for other museums allowed me in. The displays were interesting but due to the heat inside...I didn't stay as long as I might have if it hadn't been SO HOT!

We loved this spot! Hoi An is charming but you inevitably will see the same products repeated on each block. March Gallery is different- truly one of a kind Vietnamese artwork. Well curated, fair pricing, and friendly customer service. We went home with some great little treasures. Highly recommend!

It’s a huge building, clearly in the Communist style: bulky and bland. For all the ancient history of Hoi An in the narrow lanes, this place has some good all-around history and exhibits. The second floor starts with Cham history, including some of the statuary and carvings taken from My Son. The section on the war, with pieces of downed American jets, bombs, and other memorabilia, I thought was the best. Being American, it's good to see the perspective from the opposing side. It's the best part of the museum by far. The third floor is a bit esoteric, more artwork than anything (that is to say in my opinion, skip it). There is one gallery with some really good photos of colonial Hoi An. The fourth floor is the rooftop, and considering this is the tallest building in the city, the views are spectacular. This is also a great place to drop 30-60 minutes while it's raining!

This is only worth a visit if you are interested in cultural history. Personally the best feature of this place is the view from the balcony and the authentic look of the building.

This gallery was great place to visit. Its very beautiful traditional temple and there are many beautiful paint arts here. I have visited many times while I stayed Hoi An. Also, the staff Vy, she is very kind and has good sense.
I bought some arts who painted by local people. And its very easy to bring back home because Vy packaged it very politely.

This excellent shop has something a bit different from the other shops we saw. There is interesting art and jewellery. There are beautiful cards. There are some things made from recycled materials. And there are plenty of gifts to chose from. The shopkeepers were very pleasant and not at all pushy. And their English was good.

Gorgeous gallery. Bought 2 pieces to take home to the uk - they were wrapped compactly In a durable tube so should make it home okay. Lovely couple that run the shop and the pieces are all original.

We bought a painting here after searching many of the other art work shops. The prices were very reasonable for an original artwork by very talented artists. From small to large artworks the fixed prices ranged from VND300,000 (US$13) to VND 1,000,000 (US$44) This artwork will be a wonderful souvenir of our stay in Hoi An.

We didn't have a coffee but the cafe was really cute. Great place to avoid the tourist crowds and so something a little bit off the beaten path.
