Firstly Tram is great, she’s so friendly and personable and it’s so clear that she wants you to have the best time possible.
The trip to the market to buy ingredients was a treat, learning about various foods and what to look for.
The cooking class is set in Trams outdoor kitchen in her garden beside the river. It’s a lovely location and adds great ambiance to the day, it’s the most authentic experience we have had in Vietnam.
We made some delicious dishes (with fussy eaters catered for!) and we left with the fullest of belly’s.
The coconut boat ride was also great, departing from the bottom of Trams garden, and thankfully the spinning round bit was optional haha.
We had a great laugh with Tram who has a fab sense of humour and it made for a fantastic day.

We had a fun walk through the local markets and a lively coconut boat ride where my son caught 6 coconut crabs. Our cooking class was hands-on and we made all the dishes seen in the picture. I would definitely recommend booking this class, you’ll learn some new Vietnamese recipes and end up with a big smile and a full belly at the end. We were a group of three families (8 kids aged 7-13) and everyone enjoyed the day - from the boat ride, to the education about traditional village life and cooking methods, to the delicious food and fun and easy cooking. - Con T1 contributionThis tour was very much worth it! Our guide, Hung was very informative and entertaining. We started at the local market to learn about ingredients and produce that is used for cooking Vietnamese food. When then we’re shuttled to a local fishing village to meet the locals and take a ride on a basket boat for 30 mins. We ended with a class in making Vietnamese pancakes, spring rolls, stir fried chicken, papaya salad and morning glory. It was so nice that they offered the vegetarian meals as well, they were great. I am glad we got to take the recipes home.

We all got to cook and eat a variety of tasty Vietnamese dishes, along with the instructions to try recreate at home.

The owner is amazing he is very knowledgeable about the food and also a lovely person. He is even employing disabled people who struggle to find jobs elsewhere, fantastic person.
