Len was delightful and provided us with a nice cup of tea and some good music while we worked away. The people that ran the workshop were nice, the setting was chill enough that you can enjoy the whole experience—no rushing, just a fun, relaxed atmosphere. We got to make 5 types of Vietnamese coffees—full sized! We def had a coffee buzz afterwards but it was worth it—our faves were the salt coffee and coconut coffee—delicious!
Vietnamese coffee packs a punch but goes down smooth. We left with a few bags of coffee to bring back home. Happy to support this locally owned family business! - Paloma S1 contributionI totally recommend this activity and with Hang. I wanted to have a souvenir from Vietnam and it’s amazing to do it by yourself. Also, Hang is amazing, good vibes and kind. She is really good painter and has a lot of patience.

My two sons signed up for a workshop and it was sensational! The level of support they received during the workshop was just the best (my boys are 12 and 9 years old). The level of challenge in the session was so well pitched and the boys learned so much. The woodwork available to view and purchase was so good and being able to observe the staff making and creating was also very cool. The facility is located in a very beautiful location, surrounded by rice fields and bike tracks. The young staff helped me pull together a lantern I actually WANT to keep. Booked through get your guide for under 11$ and thought it was super cheap. All the staff is so fun and helpful! I think we were all ready to leave with awful looking lanterns because it was just for fun, but they really took time with each of us to make sure we left with a piece we were proud of. I had the opportunity to learn about the history of Vietnamese language, as well as practise several characters in ancient Vietnamese whilst being supported with the proper technique. Huỳnh Dõng was clearly very knowledgeable, and relayed the information in a way that was easy for a novice like myself to understand. I also greatly appreciated his generosity and attentiveness! - jj1968London, UK215 contributionsThis very impressive show is for one hour located in its own ‘theatre’ building by the river, at the end of the market in Hoi An. We walked along and happened to find it but pleased we did. Tickets are a bit pricey compared to other things but worth it. The acrobatics and choreography are very clever, a lot of training must go into this show. It was so beautiful seeing Hội an starting to wake up in the early light ..
