Total time needed is about an hour to go up and down with the various stops along the way. However they still have alot of other animals such as lions,cheetah and a whole lot of oryx. The zoo was clean and well maintained. In every area they make sure they have shops or snacks bar to be able to refresh and eat food while roaming around the zoo. The Fort houses a fascinating collection of photographs of Wilfred Thesiger. He is was an amazing eccentric character that travelled through The Empty Quarter with Bedu people. Stunning life. - Mohsin AMuscat, Oman484 contributionsBawadi mall is the biggest in Al Ain. Lots of branded stores are present. There is sufficient parking. Play area for kids and two food courts. The bigger one is one first floor with many options. The one on ground floor near gate 5 is connected to the Ayla hotel. Lots of food and beverages shops outside the mall also. - Lee D209 contributionsThis is very much a working Camel and Goat market so expect to be one of very few tourists. It's a lively place, with lots of shouting and encouragemnent to buy or at the very least to take photos for a price. However, with a polite 'no' to a photo opportunity with a baby camel the vendors are happy to leave you alone to wander among the pens which house Camels (and Goats) of all ages. It is just opposite Ayla grand hotel which makes it very convenient for tourists staying there. 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Outside of the mall is 24 hour pharmacy. Enough parking space. Lots of branded shops. Du office also inside the mall, which is very convenient for tourists to take sim card.
