If she doesn't have what you want, she'll make it. I bought a painting of the Virgin Mary on paper from an old Persian book. It is fabulous and was reasonably priced. The owner is friendly and nice in person.

There is beautiful antique jewelry as well as jewelry and goods made by Huseyin and his family. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and is a wonderful guide. You can feel confident that what you're buying is excellent. Huge variety. Looking at all the rugs is a most enjoyable experience one that is not rushed and often done over tea or other refreshments. The wine is excellent, the service impeccable & so very friendly - & the cheese platter is very generous. It is set in the old family home, which is just delightful. I'm wearing mine now and wishing I could go back! We bought Apple tea.chillis and loads if Turkish delight.
We were given free drinks and samples.

The lady tried to sell me earrings for 370TL and when she recognized that I won't buy them she wanted to leave it for 170TL .But they wasn't worth a 50 TL so I just tried to leave the sore quickly even she tried so hard to halt me. What a deceitful behavior. Wouldn't recommend the store. Even the quality isn't handmade or near to handmade it just staple, even so she tried to sell it as handmade. They make sure you get to enjoy the real Turkey with people who love Turkey deeply. I am looking forward to going back.
