Three quarters of the way up we mistakenly took a right turn which lead to the farmed areas not the trail so we had to turn back and retrace our steps for about 15 minutes.
After 3 hours reached the top and managed to hitch hike to the next junction. From there we hailed a passing taxi to get back to Goreme.Written April 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was definitely worth a stop as a photo op. Staying on the same road, we came to several spots offering breathtaking panoramas of the Göreme Valley. One, Honey Valley, featured red cliffs reminiscent of Abiquu, the New Mexico geological formation made famous by painter Georgia O’Keefe.Written July 12, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
