- Abigail LBoston, MA16 contributionsThis was just me and my sister and a guide who explained tons of information about wine in the region, what we were drinking, etc. We made three stops and had TONS of glasses of wine. Like 12 or 15 maybe. I mean they weren't all full but seriously you get lots of wine. There were also snacks to go with the wine thank goodness. - Joanne SLondon, UK2 contributionsThe area is obviously exceptional on its own but Tour guide Deniz, and driver The Captain are what makes this tour. Both are friendly, speak perfect English and have extensive knowledge about the area and its history, and a genuine love for where they live.
They have the tour planned out perfectly but are still flexible if you want to spend longer in one place, which is easily done in many of the places we were shown.
The highlights for me were the underground city and having the best traditional coffee in the area whilst overlooking the valley.
